Yes, tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw (December 23, 2024) is pre-taped. This week’s episode of the Red brand was pre-taped following the 12/16 show last week at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
The Stamford-based promotion decided to pre-taped tonight’s show in Boston last week to give the WWE roster some additional time off during the upcoming Christmas season.
What can fans expect from WWE Raw tonight?
WW fans tuning in tonight can expect a packed show filled with key developments and compelling matchups. The Red brand’s show will feature a triple threat match in the opening round of the Women’s IC title tournament.
Iyo Sky, Alba Fyre, and Natalya will battle in the squared ring to decide the final contestant for the semi-finals of the tournament. Dakota Kai, Zoery Stark, and Lyra Valkyria have already advanced into the semi-finals.
‘The Scottish Warrior’ Drew McIntyre is set to kick off this week’s show, he is currently hunting the members of the OG Bloodline. McIntyre will also clash with Sami Zayn in the main event of tonight’s episode.
The leader of the American Made faction Chad Gable is set to face Akira Tozawa of the Alpha Academy, a faction earlier led by Gable.
Following Damian Priest’s interference in last week’s World Tag Team title match, which cost Finn Balor and JD McDonagh their titles against the War Raiders, Priest is now scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio on this week’s episode. Mysterio is part of the same Judgment Day stable as Balor and McDonagh.
The Miz will face Dexter Lumis from the Wyatt Sicks faction in a singles match on this week’s episode. Miz has joined forces with the Final Testament as together they are feuding with the Wyatt Sicks.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are scheduled to make an appearance on the 12/23 episode of the Red brand on this week’s episode they will address the WWE fandom.
