Nia Jax got bloodied on WWE SmackDown
WWE SmackDown this week featured a hard-hitting Women’s Championship main event that left fans concerned for Nia Jax. The match saw the powerhouse challenge Tiffany Stratton in a physical contest that had the crowd on the edge of their seats.
Despite Jax’s dominating presence and fierce offense throughout the bout, things took a scary turn late in the match that raised questions about her condition.
In a key moment, Nia tried to use a steel chair to gain the upper hand. But Tiffany saw it coming and countered with a missile dropkick just as Jax entered the ring holding the chair. The impact caused the edge of the steel chair to hit Jax in the forehead, busting her open on the spot.
Blood poured from her face, visibly shocking fans watching live and at home. Many were left wondering if Nia Jax was seriously injured or if the moment was scripted. Reports have since confirmed that the injury was indeed real.
Following the match, Nia did not sell The Buff Barbie’s Prettiest Moonsault Ever since she had a gash above her head and left the ring unsteady. The Irresistible Force published a picture of herself all bloodied on her official Instagram account to update her admirers and well-wishers while also warning Stratton.
She captioned, “Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.” Stratton ridiculed her in comments, claiming she did, hinting that their feud is far from finished.
Nia Jax’s injury demonstrates professional wrestlers’ incredible perseverance, as they withstand strength, hard labor, and true energy. Wrestling is a physically hard sport; athletes like Jax and Stratton endure frantic travel schedules, rigorous training regimens, and wrestle night after night because it is what they like.
Even after being hit with an inadvertent chair shot, which drove the bleeding Jax to defeat, she fought through her pain, demonstrating the professionalism of these athletes inside the WWE ring.
