JD McDonagh: All title reigns in WWE

JD McDonagh is one of the key members of The Judgment Day

JD McDonagh is an Irish professional wrestler, who is currently signed with WWE and performs under the Raw brand. He has been in WWE since December 2016. He wrestled for the NXT and NXT UK brand for the first three years under his real name Jordan Delvin.

Delvin made his WWE debut at the first-ever WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament, where he lost in the quarter-finals to Tyler Bate. Delvin wrestled for some WWE live events and made his way to the NXT UK & NXT brand.

In 2023 he was called for the main roster debut as a part of the 2023 WWE Draft, upon which he changed his name to JD McDonagh and made his debut in the Raw brand. He became one of the impressive stars in the company, which got the attention of his trainer, Finn Balor and got recruited to the Judgment Day faction.

JD McDonagh’s Championship reigns in WWE

JD McDonagh is a two-time champion in WWE. He held the NXT Cruiserweight Championship once and World Tag Team Championship once. Here is a brief view of all of his championship reigns in WWE.

NXT Cruiserweight Championship (1)

In June 2020 at NXT Worlds Collide, Jordan Delvin competed in a fatal 4-way match against Travis Banks, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Angel Garza for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Delvin pinned Isiah “Swerve” Scott to win the NXT Cruiserweight Championship for the first time. This is the first championship win for JD in his WWE career.

He held the title for 439 days, which is the longest championship reign for the title. After a historic title reign, on the May 27, 2020, tapings of NXT, lost the title to El Hijo del Fantasma (aka Santos Escobar).

World Tag Team Championship (1)

On the June 24, 2024, episode of Monday Night Raw, JD McDonagh teamed up with Finn Balor and faced Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) for the World Tag Team Championship. Balor and McDonagh went on to win the World Tag Team title with an assist from Liv Morgan. It is the first title win for McDonagh in the main roster and the first tag team title in WWE. They are the current World Tag Team Champions with 1+ days reign.
