Jey Uso plans to become Mr. Money in the Bank 2024!
Jey Uso is one of the biggest fan favorite wrestlers on the active WWE roster. Jey Uso has been in WWE since 2010, who spent most of his career in the tag team division teaming up with his elder twin Jimmy Uso. The Usos achieved major success in the tag team division with ten tag team championship reigns.
However last summer, Jey split his path with his twin, moving to the Raw brand and established himself as a singles wrestler. Jey has been having a great run with singles wrestling sharing the ring with some of the top wrestlers in the company. However, after losing against Damian Priest for the world title at Backlash, Jey lost his direction. Now, Jey Uso has come out with a plan to position himself at the top once again.
Jey Uso declared himself for the MITB match
On the June 3, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw, “Main Event” Jey Uso appeared from the audience area with a grand entrance. He stood among the WWE Universe and recalled what he was doing last summer. He said that he was in The Bloodline, battling with his family members and losing them. He said that he embarked himself on his own path and he’s no one’s right hand man now. Jey thanked his fans for their constant support and YEETing with him week after week.
Jey then opened up on a plan to ascend back to the top by declaring himself to the Money in the Bank ladder match, which is set to take place next month on July 6, 2024 at Money in the Bank PLE in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Being announced for the MITB match, this is the first time Jey Uso is entering the Money in the Bank ladder match, as he has been in the tag team division for a very long time and hasn’t got the opportunity to compete in the match as a singles wrestler.
Lyra Valkyria declared herself for the MITB match
Well, Jey Uso is not the only one to announce himself for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Lyra Valkyria, immediately following Jey Uso’s declaration, announced herself to the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. This will be her first Money in the Bank ladder match.
