Jey Uso not interested in returning to WWE tag team division despite OG Bloodline return rumors
Jey Uso is one of the biggest singles stars on the active WWE roster
Jey Uso is one of the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. Jey earned a major spotlight after joining The Bloodline in 2020. However, he left the Bloodline last summer and started his singles wrestling career, which gained a huge amount of attention from the WWE Universe. Jey created his own identity and got the vibe of the fans.
Uso is now one of the biggest singles wrestlers in the active WWE roster and is in pursuit of winning his first singles championship. At this stage, Jey was asked about potentially reuniting with his brother Jimmy Uso and getting back into the tag team division, to which Jey responded, which could surprise many.
Jey Uso’s desire to continue as a singles wrestler
Jey Uso recently appeared for an interview on Busted Open Radio, where Jey opened up on his desire to continue to work as a singles wrestler, rather than reuniting with his brother Jimmy Uso and getting into the tag team division.
Jey Uso said that he always thought that he would be leaning on his brother Jimmy throughout his WWE career, as they always would be the best tag teams in the industry. He had no idea of splitting up, however the split elevated his WWE career.
“I always thought I would just lean on my brother. Always thought we would just be the best tag team. I never had visions of splitting. I never ever thought my career would elevate, I thought Bloodline was where it was. And now, I just morphed into my own character. And like I said, it’s all working … I’m there every week and my confidence goes up every week. I’m hitting house shows, we’re hitting all the tours. So I’m getting my reps in for sure.”
Jeyc continued saying that his honest thoughts at present is to continue as a singles wrestler rather than teaming with his brother to get back in the tag team division, as they are already the best.
“If I could be honest right now, I would like to continue on my singles path right now. Me and my brother, we are already the best tag team in WWE in history right now. That’s checked off.”
