Jey Uso reveals JoJo Offerman texted him after 'Fireflies' entrance at WWE Backlash

Jey Uso is one of the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. The former Right Handman of Roman Reigns split his path with The Bloodline and turned face in mid-2023.

Ever since he left The Bloodline, Jey started working as a singles wrestler and gained huge attention from the WWE Universe. Jey created his own identity and got the vibe of the fans. Main Event Jey Uso’s Yeet, became a trademark of him and his entrances became iconic along with fans’ response.

WWE Universe at Backlash France gave a unique atmosphere to Jey’s entrance, by mixing the Yeet bow down with the fireflies, turning it to be the most iconic entrance. Uce has now addressed the firefly entry and also revealed that he received an emotional message from Bray Wyatt’s wife, Jojo Offerman.

Jey Uso recently appeared for an interview with Tim Battle and Eli on The Battleground Podcast, where Jey Uso was asked about the atmosphere at WWE Backlash in France, where the WWE Universe brought the Fireflies.

To which Jey said that it was always with him, which came out of nowhere. However, he is really happy that the fireflies are with him. Jey then shared that he received an emotional message from JoJo Offerman (Bray Wyatt’s Wife) after she saw the fireflies on YouTube. Jey said that he never asked for it, but he wished it sticks with it and wanted to keep it with him.

Jey said,“I think the most I was validated was (when) JoJo, Bray Wyatt’s wife, had texted me and said how emotional she was watching. She saw clips of it on YouTube and that let me know right there, ‘Alright, I’m gonna keep it.’ I hope it sticks with me, man. I never asked for it, I never…They did it and I just want to keep it with me now.”

Jey addressed the fireflies during his entrance and dubbed himself as “The Yeeter of Worlds”. Jey Uso is currently active on the King of the Ring Tournament and will be facing Gunther in the Semifinals which is all set to happen this Monday Night on Raw.
