The Last Time is Now!

John Cena’s legendary career, which spans over two decades, will reach its final chapter as WWE rolls into the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

After a year-long farewell tour, which kicked off in January, the 17-time World Champion prepares for his last match against a dominant force known as the Ring General, Gunther, who defeated LA Knight in the tournament finals to secure the spot.

The event will also spotlight NXT talents, with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes set to face NXT Champion Oba Femi in a non-title match. On the other hand, Bayley is slated to battle Sol Ruca.

Plus, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee collide with Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater, making this one of WWE’s most stacked cards of the year.

Tonight’s show will feature a must-see showdown between Raw’s Bayley and NXT standout Sol Ruca. Bayley, a former NXT icon herself, openly welcomed the chance to face any rising star from the brand.

A rising star with such momentum usually picks up the win against a veteran. However, the complicated dynamic between Ruca and Zaria has made things interesting. WWE could use the massive stage to turn Zaria, who could betray Ruca during the match, costing her the win.

On the other hand, Bayley has been missing from a lot of major events and has been taking multiple back-to-back losses, and a win over Ruca would give her much-needed momentum as she, along with Lyra Valkyria, looks to capture the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Predicted Winner: Bayley

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater

The World Tag Team Champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, step into a high-octane showdown against two of NXT’s fastest-rising stars: Je’Von Evans and current TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater.

The inclusion of the four high-flying stars on the card has sparked massive speculation among fans, as the four men are likely to put on an amazing performance. When it comes to the winner of the match, the World Tag Team Champions are likely going to win, capitalizing on their experience.

Predicted Winner: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee

Cody Rhodes vs Oba Femi

Another highly anticipated showdown at the show featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing NXT Champion Oba Femi. The Champion vs Champion non-title clash promised intense action as both titleholders went head-to-head to assert their dominance.

Rhodes looks to assert why he is a World Champion, while Femi, after regaining the NXT title last week, is determined to prove that he can hang with the World Champion.

WWE could go the John Cena vs. Kevin Owens route, with Femi, like Owens, pinning Rhodes clean. A win for Femi would give his career a significant boost, and WWE might revisit the idea once he is promoted to the main roster.

Predicted Winner: Oba Femi

John Cena vs Gunther – Cena’s final match

Well, it’s time for the never-seen 17 to hang up his wrestling boots. In his final WWE match, John Cena will go one-on-one with “The Ring General” GUNTHER, a competitor with a track record of pure domination. GUNTHER previously defeated Goldberg in his retirement match at the June edition of SNME, putting the Hall of Famer to sleep, and now looks to do the same to the 17-time World Champion.

As massive John Cena fans, we’d love to see him pick up the win before calling it a day. However, it’s unlikely that Cena won’t put over Gunther in his final match, much like he did at Survivor Series against Dominik Mysterio.

Gunther will likely pick up the victory, allowing Cena to take one final bow before riding off into the sunset. However, the loss cannot come via a tap-out or Cena being put to sleep, as that would almost certainly leave a sour taste in fans’ mouths, especially after widespread disappointment from back-to-back disastrous PLEs.

Predicted Winner: Gunther
