Latest update on Sheamus' injury following WWE Survivor Series 2024

Sheamus was injured during the IC title match
‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus suffered an injury during the triple threat action at Survivor Series 2024 PLE. The Stamford-based promotion has provided an update on his injury and return timeline on this week’s episode of the Red brand.
The 12/2 fallout episode from the Survivor Series PLE of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Angel of the Winds Arena, Everett, Washington, U.S.A.
The Celtic Warrior battled Bron Breakker (c) and Ludwig Kaiser in the triple threat match with the Intercontinental title on the line at the final PLE of 2024. The Survivor Series PLE took place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on November 30.
The Celtic Warrior boasts an impressive resume in the promotion, having held multiple titles. However, one coveted prize has eluded him, the Intercontinental Championship, which was his primary target in the triple threat match. This is the final belt he needs to become the WWE Grand Slam Champion.
Sheamus will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time
The triple threat match was an instant classic, with Breakker, Sheamus, and Kaiser engaging in a fiercely competitive and hard-hitting battle. In the end, Breakker emerged victorious, successfully defending his Intercontinental Championship against the two challengers.
During the IC title match, Kaiser attacked the Celtic Warrior with his own shillelagh, it is a wooden walking stick famously used by Finlay during his WWE run. The former multi-time champion even the bruises on his back in a social media post after the match.
The Stamford-based promotion provided an update on the Celtic Warrior’s injury during the 12/2 episode of the Red brand in Everett.
WWE revealed on the 12/2 episode of Raw that the Celtic Warrior sustained a cracked rib during his Intercontinental Championship match against Breakker and Kaiser.
Although the injury has been confirmed, the promotion has yet to provide a timeline for the Celtic Warrior’s return to action.
