The Texas Rattlesnake made an appearance at the 41st edition of WrestleMania!

According to a previous report from Fightful Select, multiple people who interacted with the ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin during the WrestleMania 41 weekend stated he hinted at a potential return.

The Texas Rattlesnake mentioned he “might have one more in him,” implying he wasn’t just talking about making another iconic ATV entrance.

Stone Cold’s most recent WWE appearance came on the second night of WrestleMania 41. The WWE Hall of Famer arrived in iconic fashion, driving the ATV through the ramp and around the ring, before stepping into the ring to officially announce night two’s attendance.

However, when it comes to his last in-ring appearance, the Hall of Famer last stepped into the ring in 2022 against Kevin Owens at that year’s WrestleMania.

There are no plans currently for Stone Cold’s in-ring return at WrestleMania 42

In a recent episode of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp discussed the rumours and possibility regarding Stone Cold’s in-ring return for one more match at WrestleMania 42.

Sapp stated that he hasn’t heard any discussions about Stone Cold making another in-ring return at WrestleMania 42, which is set for April 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He added that talk of Austin’s comeback to face Kevin Owens had circulated well before it materialized, as had a potential match with Roman Reigns.

He further mentioned that if there were any plans for Austin to appear at WrestleMania 42, he likely would have heard about them in the months prior to the event.

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will emanate live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.

The Hall of Fame recently teased the return of Broken Skull Sessions

After stepping away from the ring, one of Austin’s notable projects was the Broken Skull Sessions podcast on the WWE Network. The hit interview series, which aired from 2019 to 2022, abruptly stopped releasing new episodes, sparking speculation among fans about its future.

Recently, a fan asked Austin on Instagram whether a new episode was on the way. Austin reportedly replied to give him a couple of weeks, “Gimme a couple weeks.” This quickly reignited rumors that Broken Skull Sessions could soon be returning.

Is Stone Cold making his WWE return at WrestleMania 42?

No, Sapp stated that he hasn’t heard any discussions about Stone Cold making another in-ring return at WrestleMania 42, which is set for April 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What was his last in-ring appearance?

The Hall of Famer last stepped into the ring in 2022 against Kevin Owens at that year’s WrestleMania.
