Many top WWE stars are injured
WWE’s injury list is growing longer by the week, as the company currently finds itself navigating one of its worst injury spells in recent memory.
With RAW, SmackDown, and NXT all affected, several major names are off television, leaving gaps in storylines and championship plans just weeks ahead of SummerSlam 2025.
According to a fan account on X, there are currently 14 injured WWE superstars, potentially 15 if you separate Chad Gable and his rumored masked alter ego, El Grande Americano.
Gable was recently written off television following an on-screen attack by Penta on RAW, later confirmed by reports to be a legitimate shoulder injury requiring surgery in July.
El Grande Americano, the current WWE Speed Champion, is reportedly out with the same injury, adding further intrigue to the long-standing speculation that Gable is under the mask.
WWE injury list includes top champions and rising stars
Among the biggest names sidelined are Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan, Drew McIntyre, and Bianca Belair, all of whom were expected to feature in top storylines this summer. Others on the list include Dominik Mysterio, Ilja Dragunov, and Zoey Stark, while veteran stars like Rey Mysterio, Otis, Big E, and Apollo Crews round out the group.
Here’s the full list of injured WWE Superstars:

Major Night of Champions match scrapped due to injury
Injury concerns have already impacted WWE’s upcoming Night of Champions 2025 premium live event in Saudi Arabia. On the go-home edition of RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce informed AJ Styles that his Intercontinental Championship match against Dominik Mysterio had been called off due to Mysterio suffering a rib injury.
With major names now on the shelf, WWE creative has been forced to pivot. Fans are hoping for quick recoveries, but it’s clear that the company’s summer plans may need a serious reshuffle.
