The Blooldine was formed by Roman Reigns
The Bloodline stable was formally founded in July 2021, during a conflict between Roman Reigns (managed by Paul Heyman) and his cousins Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. The three then established The Bloodline, with Heyman as manager.
From April 2022 to April 2024, Roman Reigns was promoted as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, holding both the WWE and Universal championships in his fourth and second reigns, respectively, having the longest reign for the latter before losing the Undisputed title at WrestleMania XL to Cody Rhodes.
He adopted the monikers like “Tribal Chief” and “Head of the Table” to reflect his status as the family’s leader. The Usos (Jey and Jimmy) were promoted as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions from May 2022 to April 2023, when they lost their titles at WrestleMania 39.
They held both the Raw and SmackDown tag titles in their third and fifth reigns, respectively, having the longest reign and the longest male tag team title reign in WWE history. During this time, the stable included Sami Zayn as an honorary member, as well as the Usos’ younger brother Solo Sikoa.
Zayn departed in January 2023, followed by Jey in June. The Rock joined the stable in February 2024 to prepare for WrestleMania XL, but after the event in April, both Reigns and Rock went on an extended hiatuus, with Sikoa taking over as captain. Sikoa then eliminated Jimmy and Heyman from the stable, adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
At SummerSlam 2024 Roman Reigns made his impending return placing himself as the “OTC” (Original Tribal Chief” character turning face for the first time in 3 and a half years again taking over the Bloodline storyline.
