Liv Morgan reveals REAL reason why she cried after Stephanie Vaquer's promo on WWE Raw

Stephanie Vaquer interrupted Liv Morgan’s interview on Raw.

The February 16 episode of WWE Raw emanated from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. During the show, Michael Cole sat down with Liv Morgan for an interview. Morgan was joined by Dominik Mysterio, and moments later, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer crashed the interview.

Vaquer delivered a promo in Spanish, with Mysterio translating it for Liv. After Vaquer finished and walked off, Liv broke down in tears as Dominik consoled her.

WWE later provided the translation of Vaquer’s promo, where the Champion not only berated Liv but also sent a stern warning that choosing her for WrestleMania would lead to defeat.

“You talking about hard work? What the hell are you talking about? You haven’t sacrificed anything. WWE has handed you everything, You started your career here. You have the best doctors, the best trainers, you have everything.

I was born in Chile, where wrestling doesn’t exist, and still traveled the world — Japan, Mexico, Latin America, Europe – conquered everything.

You should be ashamed of hiding behind Judgment Day, hiding behind a man, I went through hell and made it mine, just to make it to WWE and become champion. Liv, if you choose me, you will not win because I will show you what a real champion is.”

Now, following the segment, Morgan made an appearance on Going Ringside, where she revealed the reason why she broke down after the promo.

Responding to the question, Morgan first thanked Dominik Mysterio for translating everything in real time and then explained that a large piece of dust had flown into her eye, causing her to tear up, which made it look like she was crying.

“Yeah, luckily I had Daddy Dom there to translate for me. Honestly, it hurt a little bit more hearing those words come from Dominic’s voice. But if you look closely, I don’t know if you could see it on camera, a huge piece of dust flew into my eye.

A huge piece of dust just hit me right in the face, and I was like, whoa. That’s where the tears came from. It probably looked like I was crying because of what she was saying, but really it was just that big particle of dust that got me.”

Liv Morgan will decide her WrestleMania fate on Monday

WWE has announced that Liv Morgan will reveal her WrestleMania decision on the go-home show of Monday Night Raw. The uncertainty as Liv continues to prolong her decision after winning the women’s Royal Rumble in Riyadh has led to several heated segments with both the Women’s World Champion and WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.

During the February 20 episode of SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill confirmed that she would be in attendance to witness Liv’s choice. This has drummed up massive intrigue among fans who are now waiting to witness who Liv picks for WrestleMania.

The February 23 episode of WWE Raw will emanate live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and will feature the final Elimination Chamber Qualifiers before the PLE in Chicago next Saturday.
