Travis Scott was set to team with John Cena & Logan Paul at MITB.

The fallout between WWE and Travis Scott has been kept under the rug for quite a while. Even during a recent appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s podcast, John Cena kept mum and didn’t really provide any details on the plans after his heel turn involving either The Rock or Travis Scott.

Scott was part of Cena‘s heel turn at Elimination Chamber and also made an appearance at WrestleMania 41, helping Cena defeat Cody Rhodes to win his record-breaking 17th WWE World title. Scott then disappeared from WWE programming, with reported plans for a possible six-man tag match ultimately falling apart.

Logan Paul, in a recent edition of his Impaulsive Podcast, provided more details regarding Scott’s absence and the original plans involving the Hip-Hop icon. Paul revealed that Scott did not make a scheduled appearance.

According to WrestleVotes, Money in the Bank PLE was the match Logan was referring to; it was planned to be Cena, Paul, and Scott vs Cody and The Usos at MITB.

“I was very excited, obviously, for him to enter the WWE, and we were supposed to team up with one other person. It was supposed to be three-on-three, and the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up,”

The Maverick suggested that Scott likely backed out after realizing how physically demanding and time-consuming wrestling is, noting that it requires navigating constant pain.

“I think what happened is, my guess, he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard and a lot of work. It’s probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his caliber. Like, Bad Bunny loves it and put in the time and became a good wrestler,

Wrestling is a lot about navigating pain. It hurts, and I think at some point, Travis probably realized it’s pretty hard. I would like to see him make a real run at it, but yeah, I think that’s what happened.”
