WWE has seen the influx of some of the versatile and talented female in-ring competitors over the years. These athletes from the Golden age of wrestling all up to the modern era of wrestling have laid a trailblazing path of change and revolution that defined women’s wrestling.
Among these athletes, an elite class of stars has held the WWE Women’s championship gold for more than anyone in the business, setting records that defined the industry. Here are the top five longest-reigning WWE Women’s champions of all time:
5. Rhea Ripley (380 days)
The era of Rhea Ripley finally dawned on the WWE landscape with her victory in the 2023 Royal Rumble event and subsequent win over the 14-time World Champion, Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39. The reign that began as the SmackDown Women’s Champion and later became the WWE Women’s World Title saw the dominance of Ripley cemented on RAW defeating the likes of Becky Lynch, Zelina Vega, and Nia Jax.
However, her reign came to an unfortunate end on the 380th-day mark after being assaulted by Liv Morgan backstage on the RAW after WrestleMania 40. This led to Mami’s shoulder injury and relinquishing her title next week of RAW.
4. Bayley (380 days)
Bayley began her second and most impressive reign as the SmackDown Women’s Champion by dethroning Charlotte Flair on the October 11, 2019 edition of SmackDown.
The Role Model went on to carry the title for the entirety of the pandemic era alongside her best friend Sasha Banks in her corner. However, at Hell in a Cell 2020, it was The Boss herself who defeated Bayley to end her title reign at 380 days.

While Lynch dropped the SmackDown title only a month later, she went on to hold the RAW Women’s championship for an impressive 399 days outlasting stars like Lacey Evans, Sasha Banks, and Asuka.
Moreover, her reign came to an end at her own will as she announced her pregnancy in 2020 and left WWE before relinquishing the title to Asuka on RAW, who had won the Money in the Bank briefcase the previous night.
2. Bianca Belair (420 days)
Bianca Belair began her first run as the RAW Women’s Champion by defeating Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38 in a stellar showdown and avenging her embarrassing loss at the hands of Lynch at the SummerSlam event a year prior.
The EST of WWE’s reign saw her compete in the first-ever women’s ladder match to take place on the main roster and a Last Woman Standing match against Bayley where she emerged victorious. After 420 days, Belair’s reign finally came to its conclusion at the hands of Asuka at WWE Night of Champions 2023.
