WWE announces MAJOR tag team championship contender tournament for next week's RAW

The World Tag Team Contenders Tournament continues on RAW
During the telecast of this week’s RAW, WWE announced two major contenders matches for the WWE Tag Team Championship Contender Tournament.
The Tag Team Title is currently held by Judgement Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The first match of the tournament was between The Alpha Academy and the returning team of War Raiders.
On the October 14th episode of RAW, the returning team of War Raiders picked up an easy win over Alpha Academy to advance in the Tag Team tournament.
Following the match between War Raiders and The Alpha Academy the WWE announced two more fights for the Tag Team Contenders Tournament.
Along with the two fights the WWE also announced a title fight between Jey Uso and Bron Breakker. The title fight will be a rematch from when Jey captured the title a few weeks ago. Jey Uso secured his first singles title by winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker.
Jey has earned his first singles title in his 14-year WWE career after defeating Breakker for the Intercontinental title.
The two Contenders’ fight is scheduled on the 10/21 episode of RAW In Philadelphia
According to the announcement during the episode of Monday Night RAW, the team of The New Day will take on The Authors Of Pain in the second fight of the tournament. While the team of Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee of the LWO will fight American Made’s Brutus and Julius Creed.
WWE also tweeted the announcement on their official Twitter(X) account. “NEXT WEEK on #WWERaw The World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Tournament continues!” The promotion tweeted.
These two fights are part of the 1st round matches for the tournament. The winner of both these matches will advance to the next round of the tournament along with the returning team of War Raiders.
The tournament has created a lot of buzz among fans as it would create a spectacle that would lead to amazing fights.
