Rikishi provides major update on Jimmy Uso’s WWE return status

Jimmy Uso has been on a long hiatus since April 2024!
On the April 12, 2024, episode of SmackDown, on the WrestleMania fallout show, Jimmy Uso became the first victim to Solo Sikoa, who punished Jimmy with the assist from debuting Tama Tonga and kicked him out of the faction.
Following the brutal attack, Jimmy was not seen then, but it was announced that Jimmy Uso suffered a major injury after the assault and will be out from WWE TV for an indefinite time.
After Jimmy got kicked out of the Bloodline, Solo formed a new Bloodline faction debuting new members into the faction, and making himself the Tribal Chief. As Roman Reigns made his return, WWE fans have been asking for Jimmy Uso to return. At this stage, Rikishi gave a big update on Jimmy Uso’s status.
Update on Jimmy Uso’s WWE status
On the latest edition of Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the status of his elder son Jimmy Uso amidst a long hiatus. Rikishi said that Jimmy is doing fine and is having his time off to rest his body and mind. He said that Jimmy understands that the fans miss him and Jimmy too misses them. He said that Jimmy is ready to return and the fans could see him on WWE TV soon.
Rikishi said,
“Jimmy’s doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully, Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I’m sure he misses the fans and I’m sure you all miss Jimmy. He’s doing great. He’s got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he’s ready to go, so, hopefully, we’re able to see Jimmy soon.”
WWE has recently confirmed the return of Roman Reigns for the September 13, 2024 episode of SmackDown for the Fox premiere. At this stage, WWE fans have been wondering if they could see Jimmy Uso return along with Roman next week.
