The Texas Rattlesnake made an appearance during WrestleMania 41.
The in-ring return of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has long been anticipated by fans. However, fans had to do with just his appearances, as was the case in April during WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
The 41st edition of WrestleMania took place over two nights on April 19 and 20, 2025. The massive event emanated from the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA. This was the second WrestleMania to take place in the Las Vegas area.
Asutin made an appearance on the second night of the ‘Grandest Stage’ in iconic fashion, driving the ATV through the ramp and around the ring, before stepping into the ring to officially announce night two’s attendance.
However, this appearance left fans wanting for more as they wanted to see the Texas Rattlesnake in action one more time.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, multiple people who interacted with the legend during WrestleMania 41 weekend stated he hinted at a potential return. Austin mentioned he “might have one more in him,” implying he wasn’t just talking about making another iconic ATV entrance.
Austin has previously revealed that TKO (WWE’s parent company) hasn’t reached out to him since assuming control of WWE. Despite that, he took part in this year’s WrestleMania week activities. While there have been many rumors and reports of his return, nothing has yet materialized.
Stone Cold’s last in-ring WWE appearance came in 2022
Stone Cold’s last in-ring appearance in WWE was during the 38th edition of WrestleMania PLE. This was also the last time he competed inside the squared ring. At WrestleMania 38, he battled Kevin Owens in a No-holds-barred match, where he emerged victorious after landing the iconic stunner on KO.
Additionally, the no-holds-barred match against Owens was Austin’s first wrestling match in WWE in over 19 years and also his last WWE match as of now.
