Clash in Paris 2025 is two weeks away!

Following the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, WWE is preparing for the 2025 edition of Clash in Paris. The third installment of the Clash PLE will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.

The promotion has kicked off the build towards the PLE and also announced a match for the show on last week’s SmackDown. The build will only intensify, and RAW’s General Manager, Adam Pearce, will likely announce more matches for the show.

Ahead of Clash in Paris 2025, let us take a look at the top three matches that could be announced involving stars from the Raw brand for the upcoming PLE.

3. Women’s Intercontinental title

After defeating Lyra Valkyria at SummerSlam 2025, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch was looking for new contenders when Hall of Famer Nikki Bella appeared, looking to challenge the Champion.

What followed was a back-and-forth on the mic, with Lynch delivering some very personal jabs. Bella will likely not take kindly to the highly personal comments from Lynch last week and might decide to retaliate, leading to a title clash between the two at the upcoming PLE.

2. Rusev vs Sheamus

On last week’s show, Sheamus and Rusev locked horns again, this time in a rubber match. However, the match ended in a double countout as both men continued brawling not just after the match but during the entirety of the show. Sheamus also attacked Rusev again on this week’s show after his match with Sami Zayn.

Both men have no love lost between them, and the two might decide to clash again, if another brawl breaks out, GM Adam Pearce will likely announce a clash between the two, this time with a stipulation, likely a no-disqualification match or even a street fight.

1. Women’s World title

After winning the 20-woman battle royal at the all-women’s PLE, Evolution, Stephanie Vaquer is set to battle the Women’s World Champion at the upcoming PLE.

While it was earlier believed that Naomi and Vaquer would battle for the title, the title defense will be against Iyo Sky this week. However, the match was cancelled as Naomi was not cleared to compete. If Naomi is unable to compete WWE can book Vaquer and Iyo for the vacant title at the PLE.
