Top seven matches that can be added to WWE RAW's Netflix debut

WWE RAW is set to move to Netflix as its new broadcast destination starting in 2025.

WWE is set for a monumental change in television programming with its flagship show, Monday Night RAW, set to move to Netflix. The change will come into effect with its highly anticipated debut show, taking place on January 6th, at the Intruit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

With major hype surrounding the premiere episode of Monday Night RAW, the fans can witness some of the most remarkable in-ring showdowns following the announcement of the Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa match. Here are the top seven matches that can be further added to the card of WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix:

7. Chelsea Green’s first US title defense

Chelsea Green created history at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event by defeating Michin in the finals of the Women’s United States Championship. This made her the inaugural champion, and the show became a memorable night for Green. She could have another memorable night with her first title defence coming at the debut show of RAW on Netflix, possibly against her Michin again or a new opponent.

6. Women’s IC title tournament finals

The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship was introduced as a counterpart to SmackDown’s US title for women. Much like them, a tournament is also underway to crown the first-ever champion, with RAW’s debut show on Netflix being a perfect place to add more history to the already highly anticipated show. Moreover, the finals could see a heavy favourite, Dakota Kai, square off against someone from the remaining spots in a highly spectacular showdown.

5. MCMG vs DIY vs The Street Profits

The WWE Universe were shocked at seeing DIY utilize underhanded tactics to dethrone Motor City Machine Guns for the WWE tag team championships on SmackDown. This could set up a title rematch, but this time, a triple-threat bout between MCMG, DIY and The Street Profits, who were originally scheduled to compete for the titles before being attacked backstage. This explosive tag team match for the titles could be a great addition to the match card of WWE RAW’s premiere on Netflix.

4. Nia Jax vs Tiffany Stratton

For months, the friendship between WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Miss Money in the Bank contract holder Tiffany Stratton has been experiencing tensions. This could further see Jax physically assault Tiffany, citing her frustrations with her constant losses.

Tiffany, tired of being bullied by her friend, could use her MITB contract and cash it on Nia Jax successfully on RAW’s debut on Netflix in a big shocker and emerge as the new WWE Women’s Champion, making it a memorable night for herself.

3. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens

The ending of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Kevin Owens decimate Cody Rhodes after he controversially retained the Undisputed WWE Championship over him. The American Nightmare was carted out of the arena in a stretcher while Kevin Owens fled with the Winged Eagle championship belt.

This certainly means that the tensions between Rhodes and Owens are far from over, and we could see them battle one last time for the title in a stipulation match on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix.

2. Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley

Liv Morgan retained her WWE Women’s World Championship over IYO Sky at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. As she was exiting the ringside area with her allies, Morgan was confronted by her bitter rival, Rhea Ripley.

The Eradicator stared down Morgan at the entrance ramp, hinting that they still had their differences to settle. This could possibly hint at, perhaps, their last and final title showdown taking place on RAW’s premiere episode of Netflix.

1. Seth Rollins vs CM Punk

There is a long and bitter history between CM Punk and Seth Rollins that dates back to the time Punk left WWE in 2014. Moreover, Seth Rollins has not been happy ever since Punk came back to WWE last year.

With their recent exchanges seen, there have been reports of their mega match taking place on WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix. This could be one of the biggest matches on the card and make the first episode of RAW on Netflix highly successful,l considering the star power and ability as in-ring performers.
