Some underrated matches could steal the show at WrestleMania 42.

The biggest night in professional wrestling is about to take over the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, with WWE set to produce its annual extravaganza, WrestleMania. It will present its 42nd edition at the Allegiant Stadium, the same venue that hosted The Showcase of the Immortals last year.

Moreover, WWE has announced a total of 13 matches to take place across both nights, featuring some of their box-office attractions for the card.

At the same time, there are some other matches that are possibly looking like the underdog on the WrestleMania cards. However, these three matches could instead prove to be the show stealers this year at WrestleMania 42.

3. Intercontinental title ladder match

After more than a decade, WWE has announced a multi-man ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. This year’s card will see a mix of rising talent like Je’Von Evans, Penta & Dragon Lee, and veteran competitors like Rusev and Rey Mysterio battle in the match.

The match could be a show stealer for its amazing athleticism and jaw-dropping spots that could leave the fans stunned despite a weak buildup. Moreover, it could see Evans create history should he win the match, as it would make him the youngest IC Champion in history, which itself would add to the match’s credibility.

2. Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams

The match between Sami Zayn and Trick Williams for the WWE United States Championship has got major backlash for Zayn after he took Carmelo Hayes’ spot in the bout.

However, it can still thrive as a major blockbuster with Williams’ insane popularity, the insertion of Lil Hatchy in his corner and in-ring ability of both competitors to put a stellar showdown regardless of the outcome.

1. Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu

A highly underrated match on the WrestleMania 42 card will see Drew McIntyre clash against Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned match.

The feud is driven by personal remarks and heated tensions, which are likely to make it one of the most physically battering matches on the card. With no rules to enforce, it could see Fatu and McIntyre destroy each other completely and steal the show with insane physicality and major spots of the match.

When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?

The 42nd edition of the PLE will be a two-night event on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who will headline the two-night spectacle?

Night 1 will be headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton, while Night 2 will close with CM Punk putting the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Roman Reigns.

Which matches will open both nights of Mania?

The six-man tag team match involving the Usos, LA Knight, IShowSpeed, and the Vision will open Night 1, while Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi will open Night 2 of the PLE.
