The next Premium Live Event of WWE is expected to happen on 4th May 2024. This will be the first Premium Live Event in France and is expected to have some thriller matches.

While we know The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes now holds the WWE Undisputed Title, there are certain more matches that WWE can book for Backlash 2024. Presented below is a list of 7 matches that must happen at WWE Backlash.

Rhea Ripley v/s Liv Morgan

The last Monday Night Raw saw a Backstage Brawl between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. While ‘Mami’ is a very dominating champion, it might be that Liv Morgan must be looking to challenge her for the Championship. Since she faced a betrayal from Ripley, after coming back from the injury, she must be looking for a good comeback match to gain momentum.

Logan Paul v/s LA Knight

The social media Mega Star Logan Paul retained his United States Championship at WrestleMania 40 with the help of Speed, another big YouTuber. What he must be looking for is his next challenger, since he is one of the most established heel in the WWE, he could face a match against one of the babyfaces of WWE, the YEAH king LA Knight.

LA Knight, who has already faced Roman Reigns for his Undisputed Title, must be looking for another title chance and it could be the US Championship.

Damian Priest v/s Sheamus

The return of the Celtic warrior, Sheamus was teased on the recent edition of Monday Night Raw (8th April 2024). As the return was teased on RAW, it is expected that he will be returning as a Raw superstar.

It is also rumored that he would be getting a massive push upon his return as a single superstar and not a faction. Thus, it could be said that he might face Damian Priest for his World Title at WWE Backlash as a babyface superstar.

Dakota Kai v/s Bayley

Bayley won her women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 and it is rumored that one of the main members of Damage Ctrl, Dakota Kai will challenge her for the Championship. It is important to note that Dakota Kai was the one who betrayed Bayley twice and gave her a beatdown with her faction. This is one of the matches people want to see at the Backlash 2024.

Sami Zayn v/s Chad Gable

People wanted Gable to win the Intercontinental Championship but surprisingly, it was Sami Zayn who won the Championship and now, his potential teacher, Chad Gable must be looking for the opportunity to challenge him and Backlash would be the best place it could happen.

The match is expected to be very unpredictable and nobody knows what can happen in the match and it is expected that both of them would give their 100 percent against each other.

Jimmy Uso v/s Solo Sikoa

The reinforcer Solo Sikoa betrayed his own brother Jimmy Uso and kicked him out of the Bloodline on the Friday Night Smackdown edition of 13th April. With the debut of Tama Tonga in the WWE, it is expected that he will take the place of Jimmy Uso and one-half of the Usos will fight another brother v/s brother battle in WWE Backlash.

Cody Rhodes v/s AJ Styles

Fans of professional wrestling are obsessed with AJ Styles following his heel turn because they want him to have another successful single run like he did in 2016. Even though he was defeated by LA Knight in his WrestleMania match, he might be seen as Cody Rhodes‘ first serious opponent.

A rivalry with Cody will be necessary for AJ to regain momentum after his defeat, as he now resembles an enraged lion seeking a major victory.
