WWE NXT Roadblock is all set to go live in a few days
Meiko Satomura is one of the most respected and accomplished wrestlers in the world. She is scheduled to be at WWE NXT Roadblock on March 11, 2025, report Fightful Select.
The Japanese wrestling legend is currently in the United States, having already participated in a photo shoot alongside NXT Women’s Champion Giulia at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week.
While it’s unclear exactly what role Meiko Satomura will play at the event, her presence at Roadblock is sure to spark excitement among fans.
NXT Roadblock 2025, which will be held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, is set to feature a major title bout.
Giulia will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, and this match is expected to headline the event.
Given Meiko Satomura’s close ties to Giulia, it’s possible that she could play a part in the championship feud, whether as a mentor figure or perhaps even a catalyst for future storylines. Fans are eager to see how Satomura’s involvement unfolds, especially with the looming conclusion of her in-ring career.
This marks Meiko Satomura’s second consecutive appearance at NXT Roadblock, following her memorable appearance at the event in 2023. Despite nearing the end of her legendary career, Meiko Satomura continues to play a significant role in the world of wrestling.
Her final match is scheduled for April 29, 2025, with Sendai Girls, the promotion she founded and has long been associated with. Her upcoming retirement has been met with sadness from fans and wrestlers alike, as Satomura has been a cornerstone of women’s wrestling for decades.
In addition to her NXT appearance, Satomura will also be appearing at Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) on March 14, following her stint at Roadblock. These appearances come after Satomura made the decision to turn down several booking requests from indie wrestling promotions following her final UK matches.
WWE NXT Roadblock will air live on The CW, providing fans a chance to witness the action from one of the most iconic venues in professional wrestling. With Meiko Satomura’s legacy at stake and the tension rising around Giulia’s championship defense, March 11 promises to be a night to remember.
