Five mistakes that Triple H must not make at WWE SummerSlam 2024

Triple H’s decisions at SummerSlam could become a center of discussion should it not appeal to the fans.
After the culmination of his storied WWE career, Paul “Triple H” Levesque now leads the charge of the global juggernaut alongside Nick Khan as the WWE Chief Content Officer. Ever since he took control after WrestleMania 40, WWE has produced an array of successful International Premium Live Events.
The next major event to be produced by Triple H and management is WWE SummerSlam. The blockbuster PLE is set to take place at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in less than two weeks. With the match card set in stone, here are the top five mistakes that Triple H should avoid at SummerSlam 2024:
5. Book CM Punk for the win
CM Punk and his heated rival will finally collide in one-on-one action after months of rivalry. Adding an intriguing layer to the mix is Seth Rollins being named the Special Guest Referee for the bout. With all eyes on this highly anticipated match, Triple H should not book Punk for the win, as it could damage Drew McIntyre’s credibility further after a string of main event match losses and derail his push that skyrocketed at the start of the year.
4. Major shocker in Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley match
Liv Morgan is set to defend his WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley. After putting her on the shelf for months and attempting to snatch Dominik Mysterio from Ripley, Morgan would have no place to run at SummerSlam. However, the must-see in-ring bout would be stale should Triple H fail to book Dominik to influence the outcome that could shock the Cleveland audience.
3. Delay GUNTHER’s crowning moment
Ever since Gunther’s 666-day as the WWE Intercontinental Champion came to an end, fans have been anticipating a World Championship run in his future. The belief was further solidified after Gunther won the King of the Ring tournament earlier to earn a World Championship against Damian Priest at SummerSlam. However, the backstage regime of Triple H could face huge backlash should they fail to put the title on Gunther and have him ascend to the main event.
2. Hand Bron Breakker one more defeat
Bron Breakker’s run on the WWE main roster has been nothing short of spectacular and dominant. Many fans believed that he would win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn at WWE Money in the Bank PLE, but he failed to do so. With reports stating that Triple H wanted to crown him the champion at a major stage like SummerSlam, WWE could face major criticism if they decided to go against their potential decision.
1. Failing to bring Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam
The most talked about speculation surrounding WWE SummerSlam 2024 is the impending return of The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. Fans have been clamoring to see Reigns ever since he lost the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 40, which has been evident with the “We Want Roman” chants each week on SmackDown. However, WWE could face a major blow should they fail to produce the return of The Head of the Table at SummerSlam, leaving millions of fans highly disappointed.
