The 2025 Night of Champions will be the 11th edition of the Premium Live Event and will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The show will feature some marquee matches like John Cena and CM Punk going head-to-head for the WWE Championship. Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa battling it out for the United States Championship, and we will also find out about the winners of the 2025 King and Queen of the Ring tournament.
With such high stakes, we are bound to see some changes in the characters of the superstars involved in the stacked card. So, join us as we list the most likely Heel and Face turns at WWE Night of Champions 2025 in Ryadh.
Heel Turn – Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn has been chasing the WWE World Championship ever since he made his debut in WWE. He missed out on an opportunity to fight for the title after losing against Randy Orton in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament, and it can add to his desperation. Sami will go up against Karrion Kross at the event and might finally give in and turn to the dark side.
Face Turn – Karrion Kross
WWE can execute a perfect double turn in this clash. Karrion Kross is a fan favorite at this point, and turning him into a baby face will certainly see him rise to the next level. Doing this double turn in Saudi Arabia will also give this moment an emotional weight and unlock many possibilities for their feud in the upcoming months.

Heel Turn – Asuka
Asuka recently returned to the WWE and made an instant impact as she qualified for the finals of the Queen of the Ring. She will fight against Jade Cargill to earn a title shot at SummerSlam. Considering the might of her opponent, Asuka can call for some help from Naomi, who is already in a feud with Jade. This will result in Asuka emerging victorious and WWE renewing the feud between the women’s Money in the Bank holder and the former AEW star.
Face Turn – John Cena
John Cena’s Heel turn has received mixed responses from the fans so far, but his promo against CM Punk on the last SmackDown was certainly a high point of his retirement tour. The segment was liked by the fans and received enormous praise from the critics as well. Moreover, Cena revealed in his latest interview that fans will dictate the last months of his run and considering his recent reception, a face turn is certainly on the cards.
Heel Turn – Randy Orton
The Viper is chasing his 15th World Championship, and he finds himself in the finals of the King of the Ring for the second consecutive year. He will face Cody Rhodes at the premium live event in a much-anticipated match, and another loss for the legend killer can push him over the edge. Randy has shown signs of returning to his old ways in recent months, and WWE can finally pull the trigger on this turn against his close friend, Cody Rhodes.
