WWE’s upcoming PLE’s is expected to be tremendous.
WWE staged another sold-out PLE (Premier Live Event) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024. The pre-show included the event’s first match, which saw Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Candice LeRea and Indi Hartwell to retained their championships.
However, the main event began with another championship bout, this time between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World title, which ended controversially. Liv Morgan eventually defeated Becky Lynch to complete her revenge tour and win the WWE Women’s World Championship, owing to Dominik Mysterio’s interference.
WWE King and Queen of the Ring started on May 25, 2024, at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia. This is the 7th premium live event of 2024, following Royal Rumble, NXT Vengeance Day, Elimination Chamber: Perth, NXT Stand & Deliver, WrestleMania XL, and Backlash in France.
WWE NXT Battleground, then Clash at the Castle
The premium live event following King and Queen of the Ring 2024 is NXT Battleground, which takes place on June 9, 2024, at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Following that, the company is dispatched to Europe for Clash at the Castle, which takes place on June 15, 2024, at the OVO Hydra Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
