Eight NXT stars who should move to WWE main roster in 2025

A successful tenure in WWE NXT leads to superstars being called up to the main roster.

WWE has one of the most remarkable and state of the art developmental territory to shape the future of professional wrestling, WWE NXT. The brand was started by Triple H in 2012 and has seen many top prospects become main event caliber stars.

Furthermore, there have been a lot of top-calibre WWE NXT stars who had a remarkable run in 2024 and have become ready to be called up to the main roster. Here are the eight WWE NXT superstars who must move to either RAW or SmackDown:

8. Ridge Holland

Ridge Holland has had some experience on the WWE main roster brands as part of The Brawling Brutes. However, he returned to NXT for a career resurgence that led him to be featured in prominent storylines including challenging for the NXT Championship. This makes him an ideal candidate for a call up once again to the WWE main roster.

7. Cora Jade

Cora Jade has been a prominent fixture of WWE NXT for a long time. She has won gold, been a part of top storylines and gained much attention during her injury time and upon her return to the brand. With the Generation of Jade having been a top achiever in the Black & Grey brand, she could prove to be a great addition to either RAW or SmackDown’s women’s division.

6. Charlie Dempsey

Charlie Dempsey is among the class of WWE superstars with wrestling royalty in his blood. The son of WWE legend, William Regal has been a top fixture for the developmental territory. Dempsey has been seen him leading No Quarter Catch Crew faction and becoming a multi-time NXT Heritage Cup Champion making him a top prospect to be called up to the main roster brands.

5. Fraxiom

The team of Nathan Frazer and Axiom has been gained prominence as a top level tag team in WWE NXT. Their tenure as NXT Tag Team Champions and delivering exceptional matches against the tag teams of the brand make them a great fit for the tag team division of either RAW or SmackDown which could use their prowess as a team to their benefit for their respective divisions.

4 Ethan Page

One of the biggest breakout stars in WWE NXT in 2024 was Ethan Page. The “All Ego” superstar became the NXT Champion within months of his debut and became a prime fixture for their television programming. Moreover, with Page sharing screen space with main event stars like CM Punk & The Rock, he seems a top choice to be shifted to the main roster to begin another remarkable run of his WWE career.

3 Meta Four

The team of Meta-Four girls, comprising Lash Legend and Jakarta Jackson had A tremendous year in 2024. The duo became the first NXT tag team to compete at a main roster WWE Premium Live Event and had multiple appearances on both RAW and SmackDown. With some experience of the main roster under their belt, Lash & Jakara could find a permanent spot on the main roster in 2025.

2 Roxanne Perez

The marquee star of the WWE NXT women’s division has to be none other than Roxanne Perez. She began her dominant run as NXT Women’s Champion at Stand and Deliver and defeated top stars like Giulia, Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker to cement her place at the top of the division. With The Prodigy dropping her title to Giulia at the New Year’s Evil event, the time might have come for Perez to move to the big leagues in 2025.

1. Trick Williams

WWE NXT saw the rise of the Whoop That Trick era in 2024 as Trick Williams emerged as one of the top stars of the former Black & Gold brand. Williams delivered impressive in-ring performances and became a two-time NXT Champion while captivating the audience every time he appeared. With Trick losing his NXT title to Oba Femi at the New Year’s Evil event, he could be in line to go to the main roster and begin his run as a top performer on either RAW or SmackDown.
