Seth Rollins suffered an injury at WWE Crown Jewel 2025
The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman) turned on Seth Rollins during the Crown Jewel fallout episode of Raw. Since then, fans have been speculating about what’s next for the Visionary. Rumors have intensified following reports that the World Heavyweight Champion may be dealing with a serious shoulder or rotator cuff injury.
According to a report from PW Insider, internal discussions within WWE suggest that Rollins may need surgery to repair a shoulder or rotator cuff injury. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and there’s currently no confirmed recovery timeline.
If surgery is required, Rollins could be forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, leaving a major void on the red brand. Here we take a look at four potential contenders for the title if Rollins is forced to vacate due to the injury.
4. LA Knight

After pinning Seth Rollins at the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, LA Knight has been rallying for a well-deserved title shot since Rollins won the World Heavyweight title. Fans, too, have been demanding a well-deserved push for Knight after his US title loss and subsequent transfer to the Red brand.
Knight is one of the best on-mic talents on the current roster and already has an ongoing storyline with The Vision. The promotion could pull the trigger in the absence of Rollins.

3. Jey Uso

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso defied odds to submit Gunther at WrestleMania 41 and win his second singles title. However, he lost the World Heavyweight title in a rematch against Gunther. Since the guidance of Roman Reigns, Jey is trying to put forth his needs and regain the throne.
Similar to Knight, Jey too is one of the top names on the Red brand and, having held the title, makes him one of the front-runners for the title if Rollins vacates.
2. Bron Breakker

In the closing moments of this week’s Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker out of nowhere delivered a thunderous spear through Rollins. Bron then warned Reed and Heyman that they’re either with him or not. Both Reed and Heyman subsequently turned on Rollins, effectively kicking him out of the faction.
Breakker then ripped off the World Heavyweight title from Rollins and flaunted the title as Heyman raised the hands of Breakker and Reed as they stood over Rollins. What better way to showcase your intentions for the title than taking out the Champion and posing with the title. WWE is already pushing Breakker as the next Roman Reigns and might pull the trigger if Rollins vacates.
1. CM Punk

Before turning on Seth Rollins, The Vision crashed the main event to deliver a vicious beatdown following CM Punk‘s victory. Punk had just defeated LA Knight and Jey Uso in a triple threat match to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title.
After winning in the main event, Punk is officially the number one contender for the World Heavyweight title and would obviously be next in line for the title. Reports were suggesting a clash between Punk and Rollins at the upcoming November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event; however, if Rollins vacates, the promotion could decide to book Punk against Breakker for the vacant title.
Is Seth Rollins really injured?
Reports indicate Rollins is dealing with a shoulder or rotator cuff injury, though WWE hasn’t officially confirmed the extent of the injury. PWInsider reports that surgery is being discussed internally within WWE, but no final decision has been made yet.
Has Seth Rollins vacated the World Heavyweight title?
No, Rollins has not vacated the title; however, there is speculation that he might be forced to do so if his injury is serious and requires surgery.
