Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa will battle for the Undisputed WWE title on 9/9 SmackDown!

Cody Rhodes has been the Undisputed WWE Champion since WrestleMania 40 and has been holding the title for over 150 days. Cody won the title by battling with the Bloodline and enjoyed his reign without intervention from the Bloodline members.

However, what stood in front of him was the new Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa. Both had a match at SummerSlam, where Solo came so close to dethroning Rhodes, however, Roman’s return helped Cody retain the title.

As Solo didn’t have a clear finish, he claimed a rematch for the Undisputed WWE title and it became a steel cage match for next week (September 13, 2024) on the SmackDown Premiere on USA Network. 3. Solo Sikoa wins & Cody acknowledges

Nick Aldis made the Cody vs Solo match inside the cage to prevent the match from getting interrupted by The Bloodline. However, the Bloodline isn’t banned from ringside and entering the cage is not a tough task. Bloodline could enter the cage having the numbers advantage inside the cage. With the numbers advantage, Solo could escape the cage and win the Undisputed WWE title. As Cody claimed that he would acknowledge Solo Sikoa, if he dethroned him, Cody could acknowledge him in front of the WWE Universe.

2. Cody Rhodes wins with the help of R-KO

There is a high chance that the Bloodline could interfere during the championship match, Cody knows it and would be aware of what could happen. The American Nightmare could come with a backup from Randy Orton & Kevin Owens to counter the Bloodline’s interference. As R-KO handles the external interferences, Cody could pin Solo inside the cage to win the match and retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.

1. Roman Reigns screws Solo Sikoa

Roman Reigns is announced to appear for the SmackDown Premiere and there is a huge chance that Roman could be interfering during the match. If Bloodline comes to interfere with the match, Roman could take them out. Roman could stand near the cage to ensure nobody enters the cage and threaten Solo from stepping outside the cage. This could cause Sikoa the distraction and could help Cody retain his Undisputed WWE Championship by pinning Solo inside the ring.
