Who can Shinsuke Nakamura face at WrestleMania 41?

With Royal Rumble 2025 in the rearview mirror, the Road to WrestleMania 41 has entered second gear. The majority of attention is focused on John Cena’s Farewell Tour and Jey Uso’s surprising Men’s Rumble victory.

The world champions have also taken center stage, particularly following Uso’s huge triumph. However, the mid-card championship scenario has gotten less attention, with no clear hint of possible bouts for WrestleMania 41.

As a result, the future of the United States Championship scene is uncertain. In this listicle, we hope to fill the void by forecasting three WWE US Title matchups with Shinsuke Nakamura in it for The Show of Shows.

3. Jimmy Uso

This bout lacks the “big-fight” vibe that a WrestleMania championship duel should have, but it has great storyline potential. Main Event Jey Uso has burst through the glass ceiling and is on his way to a big world title match at The Show of Shows in Las Vegas.

However, his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, has struggled as a solo sensation and now finds himself in Jey’s footsteps. Since The Leader of The Yeet Movement is expected to become a main-event figure, a full-fledged Usos reunion is unlikely.

As a result, Big Jim has to generate momentum and cement his reputation as a solo star. WWE has hinted at a battle between Shinsuke Nakamura and Jimmy Uso. As a result, Triple H may prolong the feud until WrestleMania to give the OG Bloodline member his opportunity.

2. Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been out of action since November 2024, when he received a neck-jarring Package Piledriver from Kevin Owens. The most logical course of action for The Viper would be to pursue KO upon his return.

However, Owens has discovered a new target in Sami Zayn. The two might face off again at WrestleMania 41. As a result, Orton’s comeback to television lacks a clear direction.

A practical answer includes the 14-time World Champion returning to the US Title scene and meeting Shinsuke Nakamura in Las Vegas. Having a respectable top talent like The Apex Predator compete for a mid-card championship at The Show of Shows will boost the belt’s reputation.

1. Ladder match

The WWE Universe enjoys ladder matches at WrestleMania. From Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels’ classic in 1994 to the most recent Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, such matches provide hours of excitement.

Another benefit is the abundance of midcard artists who might compete in such multi-man contests. Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, Braun Strowman and even Jacob Fatu are among the potential contenders.

It also adds an element of unpredictability because there are no pinfalls. As a result, anyone may win and claim the US title.
