Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre will settle their feud tonight.
In the aftermath of Crown Jewel 2025, WWE will deliver the October 17 episode of SmackDown. The fallout show of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Multiple top names, including Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Sami Zayn, Jade Cargill, and Jacob Fatu, among others, are advertised for the show. The promotion has announced a grudge match, a WWE Tag Team title match, and an appearance by Cody Rhodes.
The show will feature the aftermath of the PLE, likley kicking off the build towards SNME and Survivor Series. Let us now take a look at the top four spoilers for this week’s show of WWE SmackDown.
4. Lola Vice retaliates
During the final moments of last week’s show, Zelina Vega interfered in the last man standing match between Damian Priest and Aleister Black. Vega pleaded with Priest, who overtook control of the action, to punish Black.
However, Black capitalized on the distraction to hit Priest with a fireball, sending Damian off the platform with the Blackmass to win the match. NXT star Lola Vice reacted to a clip of Vega getting involved with a meme, hinting at her own involvement and backing up her boyfriend, Priest. The moment gave fans similar vibes to a Seth Rollins-CM Punk Wrestlepalooza mixed tag match.
3. Solo Sikoa wants the title back
United States Champion Sami Zayn once again issued the open challenge last week, which was answered by Shinsuke Nakamura. The match ended in DQ as Tama Tonga made his return and attacked Nakamura, causing the disqualification.
Tonga, along with Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo, all of them wearing face paint, continue to beat down both Nakamura and Zayn. Solo Sikoa then stepped into the ring and posed with his MFT in front of Zayn and Nakamura, who looked dazed.’ This might be a hint by Solo that he is going to take back the US title, and with the numbers game in his favor, Zayn might be at a massive disadvantage.
2. Randy Orton confronts Cody Rhodes

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to make an appearance on the fallout show. Rhodes is set to address the loss against Seth Rollins, where the men’s Crown Jewel title was on the line.
WWE has been teasing Randy Orton’s turn on Cody for a long time. Orton has also been eyeing the Undisputed title for so long. With multiple Blue brand stars out of action due to injury, and others already having been engaged in feuds with Rhodes, the promotion might decide to pull the trigger on this one.
1. Drew McIntyre wins

Following last week’s brawl, Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu are set to settle the score inside the squared circle tonight. This match comes amid the report from Bodyslam.net that Fatu is currently dealing with “a non-wrestling-related injury” that will keep him off television for an extended period, with reports indicating that his absence could stretch into 2026.
WWE not cancelling the match likely means that Fatu might wrestle despite the injury or would take a scripted exit on tonight’s show. Regardless, if the two collide, McIntyre is likely going to win the match, not just due to the reported injury and potential hiatus, but also as it would make the storyline more intense, after all, Drew only loses when there is a lot at stake.
