Four potential endings for Jey Uso vs LA Knight in John Cena's final match tournament on WWE Raw tonight (December 1, 2025)

The semi-finals of the tournament will commence tonight on WWE Raw.
The semi-finals of the tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent are set for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which is set to emanate live from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
Gunther is set to battle Solo Sikoa, while Jey Uso will take on LA Knight. Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes, while Solo Sikoa defeated Penta via doctor stoppage. On the other hand, Jey Uso defeated Rusev, while Knight defeated The Miz, who had replaced Sheamus in the tournament.
Ahead of the show tonight, here we take a look at the top four potential endings for the clash between Jey Uso and LA Knight.
4. Miz spoils the party
As mentioned earlier, LA Knight battled The Miz in the quarterfinals last week. Miz was replacing Sheamus, who pulled out of the tournament due to injury. Miz basically cheated, putting his name in the tumbler ball when GM Nick Aldis was distracted by R-Truth.
However, Miz once again failed to win the match and advance in the tournament. He has also been vocal about his exclusion from Cena’s retirement tour, despite being a major part of Cena’s WWE career. Miz might decide to ruin Knight’s chance due to the loss last week and attack Knight tonight.

3. LA Knight wins
LA Knight has been one of the fan-favorite stars on the current roster, and despite multiple outcries from fans, has not been put in any major storylines. Knight has only held the United States title until now. There were reports of his involvement in the WarGames match, but the plans were changed, with fans speculating that Knight was punished for holding up the fan sign on live TV, which said, “We want LA Knight, not Jey Uso!”
Anyhow, WWE seems to be back on the LA Knight train as the star has been handed two mystery opponents and has won both matches, despite the challenges. Knight could benefit a lot from a match with John Cena, and he could pin Jey clean tonight to advance into the finals and reach one step closer to facing Cena.
2. Jimmy Uso helps his brother
Another major angle that could play out during the match is Jimmy Uso. While Jimmy is on good terms with Knight and usually has good advice for Jey.
However, Jey has been focused on getting back to the World title and securing a final match with Cena, who is not just a 17-time WWE World Champion, but one of the greatest, which will make Jey’s case even stronger. Jey might convince Big Jim to provide some backup if needed during the match.
1. Jey Uso wins clean
In 2025, WWE gave a massive push to Jey Uso, from him winning the Royal Rumble over John Cena and then submitting Gunther to become the World Heavyweight Champion. All this has been done, despite the massive criticism online and likely due to the constant fan support during live programming for Jey.
Jey is pinning Knight to secure the spot in the finals against Gunther, a man with whom he has a history with is something which might transpire tonight in Arizona.
