It is a heated rivalry between Dominik Mysterio and Demon Finn Balor.
A highly anticipated bout for WrestleMania 42 will see former friends-turned-foes, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor, square off in a singles match. However, Balor will resurrect his ‘Demon King’ persona to go into battle with Dirty Dom on Night 2 of WrestleMania.
The rivalry has been brewing since last year’s Mania at the same venue, Allegiant Stadium, and will come to a head this year, with these five possible finishes to the match.
5. Liv Morgan interferes
Liv Morgan has been a close ally of Dominik Mysterio since they started dating onscreen in 2024. Moreover, Morgan’s return and assist at Survivor Series 2025 led to Mysterio regaining the Intercontinental title from John Cena.
Morgan could do the same at WrestleMania 42 and provided a timely assist to help Dom slay the Demon and score the victory.

While Liv Morgan could still remain on Dominik Mysterio’s side, Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez might switch sides at WrestleMania 42. As it was Finn Balor who brought The Prodigy into the faction, Perez could stop Morgan’s interference and remained aligned with The PrinXe in an interesting twist.

Dominik Mysterio is known to get the victory in big matches by any means necessary. He would need to pull out all stops to slay The Demon Finn Balor. He could resort to underhanded tactics to put down Balor and score a major win at WrestleMania 42.

WrestleMania 42 is another one of Dominik Mysterio‘s major bouts at The Show of Shows. Much like last year, Mysterio could use his in-ring ability and pure talent to pick a clean win over Demon Finn Balor to garner major momentum in his thriving WWE career.

While Dominik Mysterio might have a plan to go up against Finn Balor, all of it could be foiled when he would unleash The Demon King on him. WWE might want to book Balor strongly after his last loss at WrestleMania 39 and could see him pick a dominant win over his heated foe.
