Defending Champions are heavy favorites heading into the Clash in Paris!

WWE has landed in Paris, France, for its next international premium live event, Clash in Paris, and wrestling fans in France take over the Paris La Défense Arena this Sunday. The third installment of the Clash PLE will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, Paris, France.

The third Clash event, shortened from the “Clash at the Castle” title used in 2022 and 2024, will feature stars from both Raw and SmackDown. John Cena, in his first and final appearance in the city, will battle Logan Paul, while Sheamus and Rusev will battle in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match.

Seth Rollins is set to defend the World Heavyweight title in a fatal four-way match against LA Knight, Jey Uso, and CM Punk. On the other hand, Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s IC title against Nikki Bella.

Furthermore, Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed will settle their score in Paris, and The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) will put the WWE Tag Team titles against The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins). Ahead of tonight’s PLE, let us take a look at the top four surprises that might be in store for WWE fans.

4. Bayley ambushes

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is set to defend the title against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella on tonight’s PLE. While Lynch is likely on a path to retain the title, a ghost from her past might come to haunt her.

Bayley, who has been struggling with her ‘hugger’ and ‘ding-dong’ persona in the backdrop of missing WrestleMania due to Lynch’s attack and being unable to win the IC title, might just snap and turn heel again, attacking Lynch likely after the match.

3. Bronson Reed takes down The Tribal Chief

Roman Reigns will make his singles return, facing powerhouse Bronson Reed, a key member of Seth Rollins’ faction, The Vision. This marks Reigns’ first one-on-one contest since January, and the crowd in Paris will undoubtedly give him a thunderous reception.

Reigns is likely going to win the match to continue his feud with Seth Rollins, ending in an eventual clash. However, Reed is likely going to take down Reigns in a possible attack after the match. In true Reigns fashion, this attack could help him write off television until his return, likely ahead of Survivor Series.

2. World Champion retains

World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is set to defend the title in a fatal four-way match against LA Knight, CM Punk, and Jey Uso. Rollins has had a long-running feud with Punk, but since his return at SummerSlam, his rivalry with Knight has gained momentum. Additionally, his recent heel turn has led to multiple confrontations with Jey.

However, the three challengers are also unable to put aside their differences and compete in the match. On multiple occasions, they have started brawling, giving an edge to Rollins, which might be the case again in Paris, with Rollins retaining the title.
