Two potential SPOILERS for WWE Night of Champions 2025 revealed

The 2025 edition of the PLE will emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia!
The Stamford-based promotion is all set to deliver the 2025 edition of Night of Champions. The 2025 edition of the show will be the 11th Night of Champions and is set for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The show will host the finals of both the 24th King of the Ring tournament and the third Queen of the Ring tournament. The Undisputed title and the United States title will also be contested on the show. Ahead of the show, a recent report has now provided some light on WWE‘s creative plans for the show.
What Happened?
Ahead of the PLE, WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes Radio, while noting that plans can change, reported that the likely winner of the 2025 King of the Ring tournament is Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is set to battle Randy Orton in the finals of the tournament at the PLE.
Meanwhile, John Cena is considered to be the likely winner of the Undisputed WWE title match; he is set to defend the title against CM Punk.
“In regards to potential match winners, again things can change day of, but based on what we were hearing then and based on what creative has lined out for post-Night of Champions, we can tell you the leading candidates for the winners for the two headline matches this weekend are that of John Cena retaining and Cody Rhodes winning King of the Ring,” WrestleVotes said.
The Bigger Picture
As per the report, it seems the Stamford-based promotion is setting up the rematch between John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the title, potentially at SummerSlam, which is scheduled for August 2 and August 3 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Cena defeated Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to win the Undisputed title and become the one and only 17-time WWE World Champion.
