The 2024 Money in the Bank PLE could be filled with surprises.

WWE is all set to host the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE on July 6, 2024 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. WWE has booked some of the interesting matches for the event to make it one of the best MITB PLEs in recent times. With just one week from the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE, here are the top five potential surprises WWE could have in store for the show.

5. Liv Morgan costs Damian Priest

Liv Morgan could cost Damian Priest’s World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank PLE. Priest has been the only member in the Judgment Day, who has been seemingly opposing Liv Morgan involving herself with Dominik Mysterio and rest of the Judgment Day members. As per the match rules, Priest should leave Judgment Day if he loses the title. Morgan could cost Priest, making him leave the faction and she could enter the Judgment Day with the support of all the members.

4. AJ Lee screws Drew Mcintyre

Drew McIntyre brutally assaulted CM Punk and took his most-valuable bracelet with him, which has Punk’s wife and dog’s name in it. Since Punk was attacked by McIntyre, AJ Lee could make her surprise appearance to cost Drew his Money in the Bank ladder match on behalf of Punk, and take the bracelet from him.

3. Jimmy Uso returns

The Bloodline is all set to face Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. However the arrival of Jacob Fatu hints that it could turn into an eight-man tag team match. Since there are only three members on Cody’s side, Jimmy Uso could make his WWE return and join Cody’s team. It is important to note that Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga injured Jimmy Uso and kicked-him out of the faction. So Jimmy could return with a vengeance against the new Bloodline.

2. CM Punk gets medically cleared

CM Punk has promised that he will be the nightmare for Drew McIntyre and would not allow him to win the world title. Since Drew teased that he would win the MITB contract and cash-in his briefcase to win the world title the same night, Punk could return at MITB to cost McIntyre’s match. There might be a restriction of Punk getting physically involved, however he could announce that he is medically cleared. This could result in a singles match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam 2024.

1. Randy Orton turns on Cody Rhodes

Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship has been one of the rumored matches for the SummerSlam PLE. However both stand on the same page in the battle to fight against Bloodline. At Money in the Bank, Orton could turn on Cody after the match, whatever the match result is. Randy turning on Cody could result in a match for the upcoming SummerSlam PLE, as AJ Styles earned the title shot in the same way.
