WWE Bad Blood is the latest PLE the wrestling moguls are going to hold next

Bad Blood is returning to WWE after a hiatus of 20 long years, and there couldn’t have been a more perfect time for it. With numerous long-term grudge feuds taking place across both brands simultaneously, it’s a welcome return.

WWE Bad Blood is replacing the Hell in a Cell PPV, which comes as a relief to pro wrestling fans worldwide, as it guarantees that the cell will be reserved for rivalries that demand it.

From rivalries that demand it, one can’t help but think about the worst blood feud in the WWE right now: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre. What is being advertised as the final match of their rivalry is set to take place at Bad Blood inside Hell in a Cell? Fans are arguing that CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre should be in the main event spot over a returning Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming up to take on the Rogue Bloodline. This shows how much fans are invested in the rivalry.

With Bad Blood set to take place on Saturday, October 5th at 6 pm ET at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, here are four predictions for the PLE:

CM Punk will beat Drew McIntyre

The rivalry between the two has been going on for over nine months, and it has served its purpose. Now, as all good things must come to an end, the question is who should take the win? Many might disagree, but CM Punk needs this win more, and I think that’s exactly the direction WWE will be taking as well.

Drew McIntyre has been doing his career’s best work right now as a heel, and he has definitely done more in this rivalry in terms of involvement and contributions. However, CM Punk did his best despite his injuries, selling the rivalry with just the microphone in his hands. This rivalry would never have the hype it has right now without Punk.

From WWE’s point of view, they need to give this win to Punk because he has a lineup of dream matches and rivalries ahead of him, and for WWE to make the most money out of it, they need to preserve his credibility. If he loses to the guy who bullied him and his family for the past six months in his first rivalry after showing up after 11 years, that will immensely damage that credibility.

Drew McIntyre also doesn’t deserve to take the loss, but at the same time, he is a team player and will understand. He can recover from this as he still is young and has many years ahead of him, the same is not unfortunately true for Punk.

Finn Balor will defeat Damian Priest

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest is another product of Triple H’s long-term bookings. They built it slowly and steadily for two years, planting seeds every now and then, teasing the eventual breakup until it happened at SummerSlam. However, I am surprised by the fact that they are having their first singles match this soon because Triple H really plays the long game with these sorts of matches.

Since this is happening at Bad Blood, this is surely not going to be their last match. This rivalry will keep going and might as well until WrestleMania, where we see a Demon Balor. So, since this is going to be the first of many bouts, it’s much more likely that Finn Balor is going to take the win here.

This is because both Judgment Day and Finn Balor have lost a lot lately, and it is really starting to hurt them now. Also, the Terror Twins got their win at Bash in Berlin. So, in order for this rivalry to continue, Finn Balor must win at Bad Blood, and we think he will.

Dominik Mysterio might cost Rhea Ripley the Women’s World Title again

Now, this might be a very risky prediction, as General Manager Adam Pearce has confirmed that to prevent Dominik Mysterio from interfering, they will lock him inside a shark cage and suspend him on top of the ring. As funny as it is probably going to be, I don’t see a way Liv Morgan beats Rhea Ripley without Dominik interfering.

At the same time, this is probably the best version of Liv Morgan that we have seen so far. Would it be okay to take the title off her so soon? I really doubt WWE is going to do that. Rhea still looks very legit, and she can still win it before WrestleMania season, but I don’t think Bad Blood is the time for it.

So, I think we will get a lot of shenanigans and outside interferences in this match, be it in the form of Judgment Day or someone else. My prediction is Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio will show up with a plan, and Dominik will be out of the cage in some way or form, creating a memorable moment and therefore an evident distraction. He will eventually get beaten up by Rhea for it, but owing to that distraction, Liv Morgan will once again find a way to retain her title.

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will defeat Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes

Again, a risky prediction, as Roman Reigns is making his in-ring return after almost six months, and he is teaming up with the practically unpinnable Cody Rhodes. However, I think the chances are high that they will lose this one.

There is more than one way to book this. We might get Kevin Owens interfering in the match, betraying Cody Rhodes to turn the ties in favor of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. We might also get the traditional Randy Orton and Kevin Owens helping Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to even the odds again against the Tanga Brothers, who will be at ringside causing interferences. This makes it 4 on 4, which is when Solo Sikoa can reveal his final piece in the form of Hikuleo, who also signed with WWE at the same timeline as Jacob Fatu and has not made his debut yet.

Either way, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes losing makes more sense from a storyline POV. If Roman wins at Bad Blood and regains his Ula Fala, what are we fighting for at Survivor Series? However, if Roman and Cody lose at Survivor Series, then he will have to build from scratch again. He will have to go back to take counsel from his Wiseman and find a way to bring the old Bloodline back together for the Survivor Series War Games Bloodline Civil War match.

That can be the venue where Roman Reigns and the original Bloodline persevere over the rogue Bloodline. In this way, Roman Reigns taking back what’s rightfully his, the Ula Fala, will feel a lot bigger, and we know Triple H lives to give us moments like that. So, I believe Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are winning at Bad Blood one way or another.
