Top four predictions for WWE Raw tonight (January 13, 2025): Dakota Kai wins; Penta debut & more

This week’s episode of the Red brand features two grudge matches
The 01/13 episode of Monday Night Raw will be telecasted tonight from the SAP Centre in San Jose, California. The second episode of the Red brand on Netflix will reveal how the storyline and feuds will develop further after last week’s results.
Four matches have been announced for the debut show including a street fight between two fierce rivals. The card also features a match between the leader of the American-Made faction, Chad Gable, and a mystery luchador.
Ahead of this week’s show in San Jose let us take a look at four predictions for the 01/13 episode of the Red brand.
4. Finn Balor wins the street fight
Finn Balor is scheduled to lock horns with Damian Priest in a street fight on tonight’s show. The two former friends turned rivals are at each other’s throats since Balor reignited their feud by attacking Priest during the Survivor Series 2024 PLE.
While it might seem like Priest will handle Balor easily and coast to a victory. However, the addition of the Judgment Day into the fray tips the scale in Balor’s favor, considering there are no disqualifications for outside interference Balor’s stablemates will likely aid him in the clash.

3. Drew McIntyre demands a rematch
Drew McIntyre locked horns with Jey Uso in the historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix last week. Jey was Drew’s second victim in his quest to take out every member of the OG Bloodline. After decimating Sami Zayn, McIntyre chose Jey as the next target.
However, despite being in control of the match Jey was able to roll McIntyre up for a three-count and pick up the win. The loss has spoiled McIntyre’s plans and he would be itching to settle the score and restart his quest of taking out the remaining OG Bloodline members.
The Scottish Warrior would likely demand a rematch against Jey on tonight’s episode to settle the score and inflict severe damage to send a message to the rest of the faction.

2. Dakota Kai wins the finals
After defeating Zoey Stark, Dakota Kai advanced to the finals of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title tournament. While Kai was hoping for her stablemate Iyo Sky to win the second semi-finals setting up a friendly match between the two in the finals, Lyra Valkyria defeated Sky and cemented her spot in the finals.
The two stars will lock horns in the 01/13 episode of the Red brand to decide the winner of the tournament who will be crowned the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Valkyria has demonstrated her skills as a promising wrestler, notably defeating former World Champion Iyo Sky.
Nevertheless, Kai’s experience gives her a significant advantage, making her the likely winner in the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Championship match.
1. Penta El Zero Miedo makes his WWE debut
Penta El Zero Miedo recently signed with WWE after leaving AEW. The company has been airing vignettes featuring him on recent episodes of Raw. Penta’s unique branding made a notable appearance on last week’s show, confirming his arrival in WWE.
The Mexican sensation will likely make his debut on the 01/13 episode of Monday Night Raw. On the debut episode last week, Chad Gable demanded the best luchador General Manager Adam Pearce can find. There is a high possibility that Gable’s mystery opponent this week will be Penta.
