Tonight’s show of WWE Raw will air live from Omaha!
Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Storylines and feuds will reach a boiling point tonight as the episode will serve as the go-home show for the upcoming Backlash PLE.
Backlash 2025 is set for May 10 and will emanate live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The promotion has announced matches and segments in the build-up to the event, and will likely use them to set up more matches for May 10.
As the promotion prepares for Backlash 2025, here are the top four predictions for tonight’s show of WWE Raw from Omaha, Nebraska.
4. Gunther attacks Michael Cole
‘The Ring General’ Gunther is set to battle Raw’s commentator and star sport analyst Pat McAfee on May 10, the match was set up as McAfee jumped in to save fellow announcer Michael Cole from Gunther’s attack. However, McAfee’s harsh words last week might irk the Ring General, who might decide to target Cole tonight.
Cole was not just Gunther’s original target on Raw after WrestleMania, but an attack on him will likely send a message to McAfee ahead of the May 10 clash.

3. El Grande Americano attacks Penta
Chad Gable, in a backstage segment last week, made fun of Penta as his brother Rey Fenix lost to El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41. However, Penta was in no mood as he dropped Gable with a vicious kick. The segment will likely be used to set up a feud between the two, as Americano’s (Yes, Gable & Americano are the same person) feud with Rey Mysterio has been put on a shelf due to Mysterio’s injury.
If this happens, Penta will have to fight on two fronts. Americano’s interference would lead to a feud with the luchador, intensifying the storyline of him mocking lucha libre while a true luchador defends its honor.
2. Tag Team match for Backlash
Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky is set to battle Roxanne Perez in a singles match, this was set up after Sky saved Rhea Ripley during her singles match against Perez last week. Ripley was attacked by Perez and Giulia. There is a high probability of Giulia interfering in the match and Rhea Ripley making the save, the promotion is already teasing a storyline between the two, and a tag team match at Backlash might be on the cards tonight.
1. Jey Uso vs Logan Paul
Another possible matchup that is likely planned for Backlash is the clash between World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Logan Paul. The promotion booking of Gunther against Pat McAfee likely means they’re saving the rematch with Jey for later PLEs and teasing the feud between Paul and Jey might end up in their clash on May 10.
