Khel Now's predictions for WWE Royal Rumble 2026

The Royal Rumble event could see thunderous and heartbreaking conclusions this year.
WWE is set to create history with its iconic Premium Live Event, the Royal Rumble, this year. The marquee show will host its first edition outside the United States on January 31 at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Like every year, the show will feature two Rumble matches.
Apart from that, a major title match and high-stakes bout have also been announced. With the event drawing closer, here are Khel Now’s predictions for the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event.
4. Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn
Drew McIntyre will have his first Undisputed WWE title defense against Sami Zayn at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE. Zayn earned the right to challenge McIntyre by winning a Fatal 4-Way match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
While he was able to secure the victory then, it is unlikely that the result will be the same at the Rumble. This could mean that McIntyre finds a way to retain his title against The Underdog from the Underground.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
3. Women’s Royal Rumble match
The Women’s Royal Rumble field is stacked, featuring some of the most remarkable talents of the main roster. However, this year could finally be the time that Liv Morgan finishes as the winner and not runner-up, as she has twice. Morgan has been touted for a major push, and winning the Rumble match could be the start of the RAW star heading towards her first significant singles match at WrestleMania 42.

2. AJ Styles vs. Gunther
AJ Styles has agreed to put his illustrious career on the line against Gunther at the Rumble PLE. Recent events like Shinsuke Nakamura’s accidental social media post and a report stating that Styles chose to retire at the Royal Rumble could mean that Gunther might add another marquee name that he retired to his resume after Goldberg and John Cena.
Winner: Gunther
1. Men’s Royal Rumble match
The Men’s Royal Rumble match is set to feature marquee names like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and even last year’s winner, Jey Uso. At the same time, it will have young talent like Penta and the entire Vision faction, who have pushed for their member, Bron Breakker, to win the match. It could just be that WWE could give him his first major win and begin his road to be a future main eventer at the Royal Rumble 2026 PLE.
