This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will air live from the XL Center
The Stamford-based promotion is ready to deliver on this week’s show of the Blue brand. The 12/13 show of the Blue brand will be aired live from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A.
The episode will features segments and matches leading up to the Saturday Night Main Event which is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th. Ahead of this week’s show in Connecticut let us take a look at four predictions for the 12/13episode.
4. Bayley defeats Chelsea Green
Former multi-time champion Bayley is scheduled to take on Chelsea Green in the semi-finals of the Women’s United States Title tournament on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The winner of the clash will advance to the finals of the tournament which is scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event this Saturday. Bayley will pick up the win against Green as she would want to add another title in her illustrious WWE career.

3. The Bloodline targets Roman Reigns
Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn and CM Punk in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. However, despite the setback at the PLE Solo and company last week made it clear that they’re the one running the show.
Sikoa and company will likely target Roman Reigns on this week’s episode and will use the attack to send a message to the OG faction. The OTC is currently outnumbered heavily as Jimmy Uso is out of action due to injury.
Jey Uso too was attacked backstage last week by Drew McIntyre and hasn’t made any appearance since, Sami Zayn is involved in a feud with McIntyre which leaves Reigns vulnerable and alone.

2. Tiffany Stratton advances
As mentioned above the 12/13 episode of the Blue brand will feature two matches in the semi-finals of the Women’s US title tournament. Michin is set to face off against “Ms. Money in the Bank” Tiffany Stratton for a spot in the Women’s United States Title Tournament Final.
Stratton will likely emerge victorious in the clash at the XL Center to advance in the finals. Bayley and Stratton will likely clash in the finale of the tournament which is scheduled for SNME.
1. Kevin Owens attacks again
Cody Rhodes is scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE title against Kevin Owens at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ahead of the scheduled clash the two stars are engaged in a war of words.
However, Owens caused major escalation in their feud last week when he attacked an injured Rhodes after his match against Chad Gable. This led to a brawl between the two, which was ultimately diffused by WWE security.
There is very high probability that Owens might attack the champion on this week’s episode. He might target Rhodes’ injured ankle leading up to their match in Uniondale this Saturday, aiming to weaken the champion before their showdown.
