John Cena will make his final WWE Raw appearance tonight.

The time has finally come for the 17-time World Champion John Cena to bid farewell to the Red brand locker room. Cena, after winning the Intercontinental title last week to become a Grand Slam Champion, is set for his final Raw appearance tonight.

The November 17 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

Netflix has officially confirmed that John Cena will wrestle in his final appearance. He is also set to kick off the broadcast tonight. Cena has expressed excitement for his final match and has asked fans not to miss it, calling it his favorite match.

Responding to the tweet, WWE’s Apex Predator, Randy Orton, posted a GIF of Cena with the caption “Are you sure about that?”

This response sparked speculations about whether Orton is, in fact, his final opponent for Cena in his last Raw appearance. The two stars have a storied rivalry and are considered to be each other’s greatest rivals. The two clashed for the final time at Backlash, but the tweet left many fans wondering if the two are going to lock horns again.

Is Randy Orton going to face John Cena on Raw tonight?

While there is no confirmation about John Cena‘s final opponent, it will likely not be Orton, as the two have already closed their storied rivalry with the final match at Backlash.

Additionally, Orton was not calling out Cena on his last match, but rather the fact that Cena claimed that he had wrestled 544 matches on RAW in his career, which he stated was the most in the Red brand’s history.

However, as per the Cage Match database, Orton has competed in 450 televised Raw matches over his career, while John Cena has appeared in 372 matches on the same show. This was why Orton posted that GIF, asking if Cena was sure about the stats.

On the other hand, Orton has been largely absent from WWE programming since SummerSlam and has only wrestled twice, with his most recent match in early October. According to a report from PW Insider, Orton is slated for an appearance on the SmackDown after Survivor Series on December 5 in Moody, Texas.

This likely means that Cena is going to face someone else, maybe rising talents, or a familiar foe such as Rey Mysterio, or a rematch with Dominik Mysterio. Whatever the plans are, fans are surely in for a treat tonight at Madison Square Garden.
