Randy Orton is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, who has had a great run in WWE for over two decades. The Apex Predator is a 14-time World Champion, who is just two reigns less than equalling John Cena & Ric Flair for the most number of World Championship reigns in WWE.

Although Orton is currently a fan-favorite veteran wrestler, he was once a menace known as the cold-hearted Viper . Here we take a look at Randy Orton’s top five most menacing WWE moments.

5. Tears Jeff Hardy’s earlobe

At Hell in a Cell 2018, Randy Orton faced Jeff Hardy in a Hell in a Cell match. During the mid-match, Orton threatened Hardy by taking a screw and trying to tear his earlobe with it. Orton inserted the screwdriver and twisted Hardy’s ear and tortured him throughout the match.

4. Pyros to blow up John Cena

At Bragging Rights 2009, Randy Orton faced John Cena in a 60-minute Ironman match defending his WWE Championship on the line. If Cena lost the match, he would be forced to leave Raw. The halfway through the match, Orton tried to end Cena’s life by trying to blow up the pyros on the entrance ramp. Orton took Cena to the ramp and smashed the button to burn the flames. However, Cena escaped rolling out.

3. Ambushes legends

In September 2020, Randy Orton dressed up like a worker backstage and entered the Legends Lounge. Inside the lounge were Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Big Show and Christian. Orton turned the lights off and wore the Infrared glasses and attacked the legends backstage. Orton tore the legends apart and turned the lights on to showcase his brutal attacks.

2. Torches The Undertaker

At No Mercy 2005, Randy Orton faced The Undertaker in a Casket match. Orton defeated the Phenom with the help of his father ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton, by locking Taker in the casket. After the match, Orton hit the locker casket with an axe numerous times and poured gasoline on the casket and lit it on fire. 

1. Kissing Stephanie McMahon in front of Triple H

In February 2015, Orton with the Legacy on his side locked Triple H with the handcuff to the rope and attacked Shane McMahon with the punt. Stephanie McMahon ran down to the ring to help Shane & Triple H, but Orton performed a DDT on Stephanie and kissed her in front of her husband, Triple H.
