Randy Orton & CM Punk are advertised for the 8/14 episode of WWE Raw
WWE has booked the August 12, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, United States. The show is stacked with some of the top WWE Superstars and the show is set for some of the interesting matches and segments for the show. Several big stars are being advertised for the show and the most notable two are Randy Orton and CM Punk. Here we take a look at the possibility of both teaming up together on this week’s WWE Raw.
Randy Orton & CM Punk to cross paths?
WWE has advertised some of the top WWE Superstars for the August 12, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw including ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk and ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton. Both men have a long history together, and both being on the same show has been raising the stakes. As both are being advertised, PW Nexus on X/Twitter has kick-started a rumor that both of them could meet again on Raw and alerted their fans to set their eyes on them.
PW Nexus wrote, “CM Punk and Randy Orton potentially could meet again tonight on WWE Raw… Keep your eyes open.”
This kickstarted a rumor that they could potentially team up for a segment or a tag team action. Punk is yet to make his in-ring return on Raw in the last ten years. On the other hand, there is a high chance that Orton could be in action on this week’s Raw, after almost six months.
Although there is a possibility of both having their in-ring return this week on Raw, both teaming up against each other has a very low chance. The only way they could team up is when Gunther teams up with Drew McIntyre to face Orton & Punk. As both are in a way different storylines, there is very little to no possibility for the potential tag team. On the other hand, they could have a live microphone session on the stage or could have a backstage segment on the show.
