WWE Bad Blood made its debut during the heights of the Attitude Era.

WWE Universe is set to witness a live experience of nostalgia as the global juggernaut is set to revive one of its classic pay-per-view shows as a Premium Live Event, WWE Bad Blood. The event is set to take place to Saturday, October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the history of the iconic pay-per-view show, only three editions of WWE Bad Blood have been produced so far. However, those three shows had a significant impact, becoming an important part of WWE’s history, with 2024 looking to make similar strides this year. Here are all the past WWE Bad Blood shows rankings:

3. WWE Bad Blood 2003

The 2003 edition of WWE Bad Blood took place at the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas, and featured an array of top WWE legends like Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels competing in brutal matches.

Those encounters included a Redneck Triathlon between then RAW GMs, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff, multiple title matches and was headlined by Triple H successfully retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash with Mick Foley as the Special Guest Referee inside Hell in a Cell.

2. WWE Bad Blood 2004

WWE Bad Blood 2004 took place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and was the last edition of the pay-per-view show until its revival in 2024.

The event saw captivating matches featuring stars like Kane, Trish Stratus, Lita, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton. The main event of the show, much like every Bad Blood show, featured a main event Hell in a Cell match between then-bitter rivals Triple H and Shawn Michaels, which saw The Game once again emerge triumphant, much like last year.

1. WWE Bad Blood 1997

The first-ever WWE Bad Blood event took place in 1997 at the Kiel Center in St. Loius, Missouri, and will be etched in the history of WWE as one of the turning points for the promotion. The event was notable for two major developments that took place that night.

One, the first-ever Hell in a Cell match taking place between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels and second, the debut of Undertaker’s half-brother, Kane, which revamped their television programming for the years that came in the Attitude Era.
