Naomi could be in line to be the No.1 contender for the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood

The WWE women’s division has been heating up as both Naomi and Bayley are eyeing to earn a WWE Women’s Championship match against the reigning title holder, Nia Jax, at WWE Bad Blood.

Last week on SmackDown, both superstars scored the pinfall on Nia Jax at the same time in their tag team match where Nia teamed up with her princess, Tiffany Stratton.

Following the controversial end, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis has now scheduled a one-on-one bout between Naomi and Bayley for next week, with the winner earning the title shot against The Irresistible Force at Bad Blood.

With high stakes involved, there is a belief that more than Bayley, Naomi should earn the opportunity and even dethrone Nia Jax for the title. Here are the three reasons that back up that claim of Naomi becoming the next WWE Women’s Champion:

3. Strong push for Naomi

It has been more than seven years since Ms. Florida last held a singles title in WWE. Moreover, there is no doubt about the remarkable talent that Naomi possesses as an in-ring competitor. Citing that Naomi walked out of WWE in 2022 and came back after two years with huge momentum, WWE could book her to win the Women’s Championship at Bad Blood to fuel her second coming in WWE and cement her status as the top star of the women’s division.

2. Huge surprise element

Even if Naomi manages to overcome Bayley next week on SmackDown to earn the title shot at Bad Blood, many fans would surely not be expecting Nia Jax to dethrone her for the WWE Women’s Championship. However, WWE could surprise the audience with an unlikely decision by having Naomi end the dominant reign of Nia Jax in this family encounter at WWE Bad Blood. This could earn them the appraisal of the fans to not book a much-predicted decision and use the element of surprise to their advantage.

1. Nia Jax Tiffany Stratton alliance intact

Amidst Nia Jax’s title reign, there have been multiple teases of Tiffany Stratton trying to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on her and possibly end their alliance in a short time. However, Ms. Florida winning the championship at WWE Bad Blood could extend their partnership for a long time until WWE finally decided to pull the trigger. This could see Nia Jax win back the title from Naomi after some time and then have Tiffany Stratton cash in on her to cement the top of SmackDown on her ‘Tiffy Time.’
