Roman Reigns is set to compete in a tag team match at the upcoming PLE.
Roman Reigns made his return to WWE television programming on the premiere episode of SmackDown on the USA Network to resume his feud with The Bloodline and Solo Sikoa. The OTC is set to team up with his former rival, Cody Rhodes, to battle Solo and his Enforcer, Jacob Fatu.
With the unlikely duo set to collide against the formidable duo, here are the top five reasons Roman Reign should emerge victorious at WWE Bad Blood 2024:
5. Unlikely pair gains huge pop
As it is known, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are the unlikely alliance teaming up together in their quest to take down the common enemy, The Bloodline. Fans are already excited to see this duo trying to work as a cohesive unit, that presents a different perspective of Roman Reigns after years of being the heel and monster Tribal Chief, gaining huge pop at the show and increasing his popularity further.
4. Much-needed boost to wrestling status
Roman Reigns’ last in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania 40, where he lost his Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. This might have caused concern among fans and critics regarding his wrestling craft, which has significantly improved over the years. WWE Bad Blood could remind the fans of Reigns’ in-ring prowess, which could be highlighted further with a victory over Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

3. Dominant presence retained
Ever since Roman Reigns made his return to WWE at SummerSlam, he has managed to present his dominant side much like he has done in years. Heading into WWE Bad Blood, which will be Roman Reigns’ first match in months, WWE needs to book him for the victory to maintain that dominant presence of ‘The Only Tribal Chief’ to retain his position as one of the marquee attractions on SmackDown.
2. OG Bloodline’s return
Roman Reigns emerging as the winner could be necessary for the ending of his match at WWE Bad Blood. The win would further infuriate the new Bloodline, leading to their attack on Reigns and Cody Rhodes. This would pave the way for the return of OG Bloodline members Sami Zayn, Jimmy and Jey Uso, brought back by Paul Heyman to emerge and side with The OTC, setting the stage for the OG vs new Bloodline match.
1. First victory in a long time
Roman Reigns has not won a match since Night 1 of WrestleMania 40, with that night’s victory pinfall also scored by his cousin, The Rock. Reigns’ status as a top fixture needs a victory after a long time, which WWE needs to book for WWE Bad Blood, having Rhodes and Reigns overcome Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
