WWE icon, Rey Mysterio recently made an appearance on the 2024 edition of ComplexCon which was held in Las Vegas, U.S.A. Mysterio was accompanied by CM Punk as the two stars appeared at the ‘Culture Kings x Loiter RAW is WAR’ booth.
The 2024 ComplexCon was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event took place over two days: Saturday, November 16, 2024, and Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Aalayah Msyterio appeared on WWE television in 2020
Aalayah Mysterio appeared in a storyline back in 2020 with her family where they were involved in a feud with Seth Rollins and Buddy Matthews.
After a fallout between Rollins and Buddy Matthews, Aalayah was then involved in a storyline where she kissed the former NXT Tag Team Champion. However, the storyline between Aalayah and Matthews was dropped shortly after, and Murphy was released from his contract two months later.
Her appearance garnered a huge buzz among fans who were excited to see the daughter of the WWE legend follow in her father’s footsteps and perform in the promotion.
However, despite gaining momentum during her appearance, Aalayah only made a handful of appearances in the promotion. Aalayah’s last appearance was when her brother Dominik Mysterio was feuding with his father.
In his conversation with Peter Rosberg, Rey was asked if her daughter ever considered joining the promotion any real way. The WWE legend explained why his daughter hasn’t followed in the footsteps of her father and brother, despite being well-known among pro wrestling fans.
“She also loves it as much as Dom did. We played wrestling a lot, but for some reason, she was more on my wife’s side. She was the one who liked to study; one of those girls [getting] A+s all the time, still to this day, always; she’s very dedicated to her education. So she, on the other hand, is pursuing her medical career,” Mysterio said.
The WWE legend also reflected back on his legendary career and did an out-of-character thing as he praised his son Dominik Mysterio.
Aalayah has a growing following on Instagram and TikTok and has become popular for her health and beauty content on social media. Currently, she is studying to become a doctor, making it unlikely that she’ll ever step into the ring.
Do you think Aalyah Mysterio should follow in her father’s footsteps, like Dominik, and join WWE? What do you think her role should be if she joins the promotion? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
