Rhea Ripley is one of the top female professional wrestlers on the active WWE roster. Ripley started her professional wrestling career in 2014 and made her way into WWE in 2017.
Ripley after spending four years in WWE’s developmental brand NXT & NXT UK made her main roster debut as one of the top stars. Ever since her main roster debut, she has made a great impact in the roster and has proved to be the top female wrestler in the locker room.
Ripley is a five-time champion in WWE, who won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship once, the Women’s World Championship once, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship once, the NXT Championship once and the NXT UK Championship once. 5. vs Asuka vs Charlotte Flair (Backlash 2021)
At Backlash 2021, Rhea Ripley defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair and Asuka in a triple-threat match. Since it was a triple-threat match, it took place with a no-disqualification rule and all the three tried to pin each other isolating each other. In the final moments, Ripley performed a Riptide on Asuka to retain the title. The match received a 4.25-star rating and was the highest-rated match of the event.
4. vs Charlotte Flair vs Io Shirai (NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2020)
At NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2020, Charlotte Flair defended the NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai in a triple-threat match. It was a title rematch for Ripley and she had a big beef against Flair. The characters were quite complicated, as nobody had a clue who was the face or heel in the match. In the final moments, Shirai performed a Moonsault on Ripley to win the NXT Women’s title.
3. vs Becky Lynch (WrestleMania 40)
At WrestleMania 40, Ripley defended her Women’s World Championship on the line against Becky Lynch in a singles match. The match opened WrestleMania 40 Night 1 and it became one of the talking points of the show. They had a tough contest with a number of near falls, however, Ripley managed to retain the title with the Riptide.
2. vs Shayna Baszler (WWE NXT 2019)
On December 18, 2019, Rhea Ripley challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship in a singles match. Baszler held the title for 416 days and rarely got pinned during the reign. Ripley pinned her at WarGames to earn the title shot but was played as an underdog in the match. Both had a breathtaking tough match, exchanging some hard-hitting strikes. In the final moments, Ripley countered Baszler’s submission hold and performed a Riptide from the top rope to pin Baszler to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time. The fans rallied to the ring and celebrated with Ripley in the middle of the ring for dethroning Baszler.
1. vs Charlotte Flair (WrestleMania 39)
At WrestleMania 39 Night 1, Ripley challenged Charlotte for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Both Ripley and Flair have a long-time rivalry, and Ripley’s rumble match win reinstated the rivalry. It was the first Women’s WrestleMania rematch.
Both had a 23-minute tough match exchanging strikes, signatures and finishers and took the fight to a whole new level. In the final moment, Ripley performed a Riptide from the middle rope and pinned Flair for the win. With this, she became the only wrestler to win all the major primary championships in WWE at that time. This match earned a 4.75 star rating and was marked as the highest-rated match of Ripley’s career.
