“Mami” is now married

Rhea Ripley married Buddy Matthews. In a recent Instagram picture, WWE’s Mami kissed the AEW star and captioned it, “Till Death, 23.06.24.” Buddy is dressed in a black suit, whilst Rhea is wearing a black bridal gown. The former World Women’s Champion is also clutching flowers in her right hand, as the backdrop reads ‘Till Death’.

Rhea Ripley likes goth fashion, which she incorporates into her on-screen role through goth makeup. The black wedding gown shows that she chose a Gothic design over a standard white wedding gown.

Buddy Matthews and Rhea Ripley have been engaged since last year

Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews were on the same WWE roster at one time in their careers. They didn’t see each other when they wrestled for the Stamford-based organization. WWE dropped the House of the Black member in 2021, and he later signed with AEW in 2022.

In the same year, the Australian pair acknowledged their relationship status. Buddy Matthews proposed to Rhea Ripley in August 2023, and the two became engaged. Following their ten-month engagement, they decided to get married.

Rhea Ripley’s real-life romance ended well, but her kayfabe relationship with Dominik Mysterio may be in upheaval, especially given the latter’s recent romantic development with Liv Morgan. The current World Women’s Champion has been spotted attempting to win the heart of Mami’s Dom Dom.

Meanwhile, Liv Morgan snatched The Eradicator’s enormous gold, wounding her on an episode of RAW. Due to the injury, Rhea Ripley had to give up the championship after an excellent run of more than a year. Now, Liv is desperate to separate Dom Dom from Rhea Ripley. Mami’s return date is currently unknown, but she has taken advantage of the extended hiatus by going down the aisle.
