Roman Reigns' appearance confirmed for August 16 WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns made his return at WWE SummerSlam 2024!

Roman Reigns made his long-awaited WWE return at SummerSlam 2024, making the rumors true. Roman appeared during the Bloodline rules match between Cody Rhodes & Solo Sikoa, and had a great reception from the WWE universe.

Reigns wasted no time, as he ran to the ring and attacked Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch & a Spear. Roman then had a look at Cody and left the ring to stand on the ramp, leaving the ring for Cody to finish his match. Cody used Roman’s assistance to deliver the final Cross Rhodes on Solo to win the match and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The entire WWE universe wondered when they would see their Original Tribal Chief next, and WWE gave a positive update by officially announcing that Roman will return to the August 09, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. At this stage, Reign’s next appearance following this week’s SmackDown has been confirmed. Here we take a look at Roman’s next scheduled appearance.

Roman Reigns’ next scheduled appearance

Kia Center, which will host the August 16, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown has officially announced that Roman Reigns will be making his appearance next week at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

Roman Reigns has been scheduled for two week’s SmackDown straight after a very long time. With just three weeks away from Bash in Berlin in Germany, Roman’s back-to-back schedule potentially hints that he would most probably work for Bash in Berlin. However, it is not confirmed yet. But it is seemingly clear that Roman is still with the blue brand, although he didn’t got featured in the WWE Draft earlier this year.

Roman will make his WWE SmackDown return this week on SmackDown and will address his future on what’s next for him and what’s the reason behind his return. His SmackDown appearance this week will likely hint at his future appearances and when he will be having his first in-ring match.

Roman within the internal roster has been listed as a babyface and it would be interesting to see what the babyface Roman Reigns will bring to the tables during his scheduled appearances.
